I’m going to review again when I’ve had more treatments here. For now I’m just giving 3 stars mainly because this is the first time I’ve been to an acupuncturist and don’t know how to compare it. I’m hoping they can fix my chronic muscular pain in my leg that deep tissue massage and 2 separate chiropractors have not. So far I seem to be getting better. It’s definitely relaxing since I’ve fallen asleep every time I get treatment.
There are 2 doctors: Dr. You and Dr. Ma. Both are very nice and have MD’s in China. They also use herbs, cupping, and other related treatments with the acupuncture. They give a discount if you pay for all of the estimated treatments they think you will need. I never really have to wait in the waiting room when I get to the office which is great. I can’t stand it when doctors over book themselves.
The only bad thing I can say so far is the office is located in the River Oaks Medical Tower and I have to pay $ 5 to $ 9 for parking every visit. There is no other place to park.
