Walmart Supercenter

It’s your basic WalMart. Long lines, not much customer service but hey the shelves stay fully stocked. I also love how the beauty department always has the latest makeup releases. Even the Target down near Willowbrook Mall needs to upgrade their beauty department to get on their level. Overall I can’t complain because shall serve as my go to, emergency grocery store.

Ive been shopping at my neighborhood Walmart since it was before his new Location. I gotta say. its got its good times and bad! Good people and bad… it seems that some Reviewers seem to find negativity in evry inch of the store. I like to keep it positive. This is my Walmart and I love it. I think most if Not all the employees are super nice and helpful. and they care. Store is always stocked and clean and yeah somedays their may not bet alot of checkers… but ya gotta know to expect Major crowds on wknds. Especially I Repeat Sunday! If you’re shopping here be Nice. Smile…Socialize.be one with the community!

This Walmart located on FM 1960 also has a gas station. Inside I noticed that it is of the design where the pharmacy is lifted in the middle of the store near the groceries. Other locations have the pharmacy on the opposite of the store from the groceries.
I encountered no problems during my recent shopping visit. The self checkout machines were working and no long lines for the assisted checkout lanes. Parking was adequate out front.

It seems all the Wal Marts in Houston are the same. Not nearly enough checkouts open and long lines. I’ve been to Wal Marts in small towns-​Miami OK, Ardmore OK, McComb MS… the list goes on. The stores in small towns have enough checkouts open and no long lines. Why can’t they do that in Houston?

Called to see if they carried lights that hang up in your tent when you go camping… The customer service rep hung up on me twice when I asked her to check if they were in stock. I called back a third time and said «hello I was disconnected twice. I’m still waiting to see if y’all carry tent lights…» She immediately said no we don’t carry those… She didn’t even have time to walk over and check so I know she was just too lazy to actually find out. Since I knew she was full of it, I stopped by after work to check. Lo and behold! There they were, right where the camping section is at. Tent lights… But wait, how could that be since the employee said they didn’t have any? Oh right, because Walmart employees are the laziest people on Earth. God forbid you do your job right JUST ONCE! No wonder every Walmart has 1 and 1.5 star ratings. Lazy ass employees who expect to get paid just for showing up. Walmarts used to be great, but now they only hire lazy slobs who have zero work ethic.

I have never been in a Walmart I actually enjoyed, so you can take this as biased if you want. I kinda want to punch people in the face before, during and after any visit to a Walmart.
Anyway, I ordered two items online last night to pickup this morning. I walked back to the
services section as instructed in the confirmation email. There is no one there. (This seems to be a common thing at any Walmart). I’ve be here for 10 mins and had 6 employees walk by without a single acknowledgement. I’ve seen three of them three times each also. I’ve stopped those three to ask for assistance & was told «I don’t know how to do this, but I’ll get someone over».
Still waiting 10 mins later. The counter here is covered in items also, a tad unkept.
Eight employees now… still nothing. All I need is a simple «is someone helping you? No? Let me get someone» and for that to be followed up with action.
Finally…one guy finally asked and got my order. In the meantime, one other employee actually asked.

This Wal-​Mart is dirty inside, hire employees that actually are willing to do their jobs, for the love of God clean the poop off the toilet the pre of the floor, a bathroom in a store/​public place shouldn’t sink take pride in your store. Also Wal-​Mart treat your employees like people. Clean up the shelves. Stock the lactose milk literally every time I go there is no milk. As I shopped today employees in the bakery were talking about personal lives and talking way to loud in a scream-​like tone. Also the people at the doors welcoming the shoppers when we say have a nice day can you please say it back. Also employees even if you may not like your job or appreciate that you actually have one you need to be in the store smiling be professional.

I would rather this store than the one off west road and I-​45. But it is still a last resort for me its always crowded. And they are always out of things.

Unfortunately this location is my local Wally World. But, after vowing to never go back into this particular store (and it has been quite a while) I ventured in for three items and luckily got in and out without much difficulty, which is not the norm for this store, based on the previous visits that created my personal ban! lol
