V’Sao Bar & Restaurant

Ordered 3 items, and they got the same amount wrong. The new people that works here do not speak much English, so if you want the food here, make sure you have someone speak vietnamese or you can be like me, stuck with stuff you have no idea what it is.

The goat curry was very good. Haven’t tried anything else yet. Nice place and music. It’s sports bar also. Prices are reasonable too.

Very nice place to hang out with friends, have a few beers watching sports, or if you feel like singing there is karaok, sound systems are nice, foods are good, staff are friendly. Must try the chicken salad and the salty fish fried rice. They are so good. Will definitely come back when I’m in Houston!

Fantastic food with rich flavor and great service, what’s not to like, plus there is karaōke so it’s gonna be great fun !

I definitely can’t think of anything bad about this restaurant. Chef Donnie was attentive, friendly, and super awesome, his foods were by far the best in houston. Absolutely loved the experience and WILL return for more. Thank you for the delicious foods.

This is place is heaven!!! Chef donnie is a wonderful person and all his food is excellent. You will not be disappointed to try this place :). Check out some of the photos I posted. The environment is very nice, a lot of space incase you need a big tables.

My family and I went to this awesome Vietnamese restaurant to celebrate my fathers 95^th birthday, and Boy we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the hostess and the manager greeted us like family, as if they known us for a long time. (this was our first time at this restaurant)
We were led to a table and immediately cold ice water was brought to us, along with cute little plates of peanuts. Now on to the great food.
For our first entrée we ordered the Bo luc lac Vietnamese shaking beef. (see picture) the meat was amazing. Moist, and juicy, perfectly cooked, not to mention the quality — filet mignon, the bed of salad the meat was on was crisp green, fresh. Mildly pickled carrots, along with roasted onions, peppers and garlic, YUM! My kids cleaned the plate!
Next came the lobster with xo sauce (see picture) Again, cooked to perfection. Not dry, moist, delicious!
Then came the salted fish fried rice. That rice was so good it could have been a meal by itself.
The Chef Donny made my children a tasty not to mention beautifully presented Kumo roll, they devoured in seconds.
Last but certainly NOT least came the soft shell crab with wasabi yuzu sauce, on a bed of mixed greens. Now, this is THE BEST sauce I’ve tasted. A wasabi, mango dressing that made our taste buds very very happy!
All in all we could not have found a better place as far as food, ambiance and superb service to celebrate such a special birthday for our dad. Thanks and a thumbs up from all of us to the people at V’sao!
