This place was great! The ladies were friendly and did such a great job. One of the best pedis and shellac I’ve gotten. Went to citrus before and VV is definitely way better.

Terrible service. Too many chairs and not enough people. The wait time are unrealistic. They keep saying few minutes and it’s never done. Waited for more than an hour because I kept thinking ok I’ve waited this long no point starting over elsewhere. My first and last visit. Wish I could give zero stars

Not a fan. I did the $ 33 spa pedi and mani with hot stone. The lady who did my pedicure was nice but def was way to harsh on the cuticle trimming. Massage was firm but so fast I couldn’t relax. The 3 ladies working were talking the entire time and the woman who did my nails had dirt under her nails and used what looked to me like a non clean nail clipper. I stopped her and asked if it has just been sanitized and she replied «of course», however as soon as she finished using the nail file on me, she directly used it on her. Basically I’m a little sketched or about sanitization here. I’m a licensed professional so I really look for that.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Would come back only for the pedicure. The ladies that work here are very friendly and nice. My pedicure came out good. French toes. The shellac manicure, not so much. There were bubbles and the edges were wack. She didn’t cut my cuticles properly. I am a manicurist myself so I knew a poorly done job when I saw it the whole process was a bit rushed. There were only 3 workers and the store was packed so I just paid for it and left. They did what they could.

HORRIBLE customer service ! The workers sat in the back, all staring at me and not once did anyone ask if they could help or what I wanted. I’ve never been to a nail shop that was so unprofessional. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve witness/​heard of their disrespect (esp. When it pertains to women of color)… However, I believe in chances so I tried again… Terrible mistake. I’ll also be reporting this company to the BBB for discrimination.

Stay far FAR away. Worst manicure I’ve ever received!!! My 4 year old son could have painted my nails better. Way too many other options in the area to settle for this place. She got polish all over my cuticles and was not going to clean it off until I asked «are you seriously done?» Polish is still on my cuticles.

Nothing special, the ladies are friendly, it’s quick, and cheap if you’re on the go and want a basic pedicure or manicure. I’ve gone a few times, and am not opposed to going back if I’m in the area, but it’s not my go to nail salon.

Very basic mani-​pedi, nothing to write home about. They have like 10 polishes in the whole place. Don’t expect ANY spa-​like treatment, it’s very basic and the staff, well… just one word YIKES!!!

This is not a fancy place at all and they could do with some better polishes, but they do a very solid job. Mani & Pedi is $ 25 and for some reason theirs lasts much longer on me than usual. I usually chip a manicure in a day, but I can get almost a week from here.

6 months later and still going strong.
I love this place. Great work for a small price.
Tracy is my favorite. She does the best pedicures and takes her time with each client.
I go in every 2 – 3 weeks for pedicures but that is just because I am super picky about my feet. Especially in the summer. Their pedicures last for ages with out chips. I run, do yoga and wear all kinds of different shoes. Their pedicure does not budge.

This is my regular nail place. It is a very basic service, done well, and a very basic price. The ladies there have mostly been there for several years at least, so they know the regulars.

Went first time said hour wait when I came back in an hour 640. They laughed and said they were closes. The sign CLEARLY says Open and closes at 7pm. Welp I tried. Never again.

I’ve been going here regularly for 2 years. I have tried other places nearby — like the über-​expensive Bora Bora on the other side of the Bunker Hill shopping center, and some other places nearby. No where else in Memorial/​Spring Branch compares to VV Nails.
First off, the ladies at VV Nails are extremely polite and nice. They talk to you, remember you, and make you feel important. They truly understand the concept of relaxation. Second of all, the ladies at VV Nails are extremely skilled. My manicures have stayed unchipped for about 2 weeks and my pedicures stay for over a month — just be sure to dry under the purple lamps. And lastly, the prices at VV Nails are unbeatable! Sure, if you drive further down into Spring Branch, you can get manipedis for $ 18 — but they will only last 18 hours. Bora Bora’s manipedis will probably run you at $ 50 and don’t seem any different. For $ 25, I have beautiful hands and feet for 2 weeks+ AND leave relaxed and happy.
They are wonderful. I don’t go anywhere else.

You get what you pay for. $ 25 for a mani/​pedi. Sure, sounds like a great deal but I got an infection on my cuticle on one of my left fingers after getting a manicure from here. The staff is friendly and great, but I wont be going here anymore.
The nail polish colors were pretty limited and I didnt get much of a leg massage from them. The lady who was doing my pedi actually left to do another lady’s mani and kind of forgot about me and another lady came over to do my mani.
Plus: cheap and my pedicure still looks nice :)
But dont let my ONE experience here stop you from going. It is a good deal you wont find elsewhere. Lots of people still come here so they’re liking it!
