The food was better than your avg buffet. kind of pricey but I might come back. Lemonade needs help. It’s watered down badly. and you guys need a bigger steam rice pot.

If you like seafood this is where you need to go for unlimited oyster and crawfish! I must say the music in this buffet is weird, feels like meditation music at a foot massage while ur slurping on your oyster.

Terrible service. I only saw my waitress Claudia once. We made at least 5 trips to the food station and came back with dirty plates still on our table. When I glanced at her she was standing there talking with her coworkers joking and laughing. She did not even check up on us at all. And when she did check on us for the very first time, it was the last time we saw her until we asked her for the check. And when I got the check she kept on going back and forth by our table to grab the check. When we were ready to pay she counted the money right in front of the table to make sure it was enough. Very unprofessional.

It seems to be fading in quality since my first visit. The food is plentiful and my server was very attentive but the overall environment just kinda grossed me out. There seemed to be a faint odor to the place as well… like a bathroom smell.

If you’re just STARVING, craving MSG and soy sauce, and want to end your meal with a self-serve ice cream straight from a half-frozen tub of cookies-and-cream in a freezer, head on over for a fill of your staple American-Chinese style buffet dishes. Everything about a buffet should immediately turn sane people off, but it’s something about piling your plate with rice, noodles, soft rolls, and various other starches(plus some protein and a hint of veggies here and there) that draws people back again and again. Yes, unfortunately, me too. Just don’t do it. You will regret all of your life choices and your fortune cookie may as well read: «If you get the chance to use a time machine, go back an hour and a half to when you were deciding what to eat for dinner today.» Pros: friendly staff, a few decent(I’m being extremely forgiving with that word) dishes. Cons: very busy staff, cleanliness was an issue for me, it’s a buffet and people are gross.(See below.) Watching an unsupervised little boy play with the raw mushrooms at the«Mongolian grill» counter was enough to make me sit down and wait for the check. Also, the lemonade is blech.

Today… not so much. The place stinks… the smell of garbage & something«sour», overpower the smell of the food… the«cheese puffs» were reheated today, shrimp tasted«shrimpy…not a good visit at all. I’ve been here before & didn’t wanna leave… today, I can’t WAIT to get out of here. Not a happy camper… ATALL.

The best things to get are the shrimp dishes, the crawfish(spicy), oysters, and soft shell crab. Other dishes are typical buffet style cafeteria eats, but the seafood fare is worth the money.

Ate at the one close to hobby. Had lunch for 3 adults and a child. Both my dad and myself did Not have crawfish but we were still charges $ 15 each. None of the ice cream was out before 4pm. Over priced lunch and average food. I’m still upset that I paid $ 15 for my lunch with no ice cream for dessert. Total bill was $ 65.

Food was ok. Service was horrid my mother in law was in the restroom and a male employee came in and started clean around the stall she was in she asked him to leave until she was finished but he kept cleaning. When we spoke to a manger. The manager told her would she rather the restroom be dirty or we will never go back here. bwr should probably file a complaint I’m just glad it wasn’t my underage daughter in there they would have been calling the police in for that

Fresh with great service. Every one is attentive. They keep the food on the buffet hot and filled! Try the potatoes; taste like they have been cooked in butter, they just melt in your mouth! Sweet tea is amazing!

I really like this place the food tasted really fresh there’s a few things that were reared like the mac & cheese was watery and the dessert selection was not that great and the pizza look dry. But everything else that I tried like the orange chicken and the sausage that they had was awesome they were my favorite I will definitely be giving it another try specially because the drink selections that I unfortunately did not get to try look good and I’d like to give it a try.

Came here for the lunch buffet today and I thought it was EXTREMELY average! Nothing stood out to me on a level that I’d crave it enough to go back. Not to mention it was $ 16!!! The food wasn’t worth that tab at all. I’d go back here but now I know I know what to expect. Maybe I set the bar too high on my 1st experience!

This is above average Chinese buffet. The food is hot and fresh. They help has radio system to communicate what’s going on. Whether it’s what’s needed on the buffet to what seating is available. Great sushi and salad choices too! If your looking for a buffet to hurt yourself? This place will do it! I ate so much I thought I was going to pop!

My family and I went to this restaurant on Monday, 6÷23÷14, and I asked to speak with a manager to inform them that the water tasted like dirt and smelled terrible. A young blonde Hispanic lady by the name of Maria approached our table and was so rude. She pointed her finger in my face and implied that I was trying to get a free drink — $ 1.99, really? My cousin’s husband asked for a refill on his beverage and she said«If I see you drinking out of his glass, then I’m going to charge you!» I was appalled; I asked for the restaurant manager and she told us that he wasn’t interested in talking to us. The food is good but the service is horrible! Sorry that I was so long-winded but I was so upset.

This place is an okay restaurant. The food choice isn’t really copious and it tastes too cheesy. However, the crawfish, baked mussels and squids are prettty good. The sushi are okay, especially with the soy sauce they made next to the squid tray, which enhanced the sushi taste pretty well. The staffs are fine, not too well cared but it doesn’t mean they neglect you. I just don’t like the music here, should be playing Asian music…

I have been here a lot of times since it opened. Just recently my view on this place changed. Before this I could have easily givn a 5 star. What happened is that on one of our visits, the waitress dropped a cup of soda on a client’s lap. Sure, it happens BUT my problem was how it was handled. The waitress went ahead and brought their check and they asked to speak with the manager. The manager available was this young, blonde, hispanic girl who looked highly uninterested in what the customer had to say. They asked her why the customer had a drink spilled on him and still had to pay his 18 bucks for dinner. She took the receipt and came back with a new one. To my understanding they gave him a $ 1 discount. Yes, ONE buck. The people were pissed and she just looked so uninterested in it all. So they were like fine THANKSFORTHEDOLLAR. To which she just walked away to. Um, WTF this girl is in charge of this place??? TERRIBLE manager. I was pissed for the people at that table. Now on to the actual restaurant… PRICE: It’s over double the price from other chinese buffets in the area. We must be paying for the club like atmosphere… We’re looking at about 18/person for dinner on weekdays and all weekend. For lunch I think its like 16. FOOD: There is a moderate selection of food. Could surely use a bigger dessert bar. The crawfish and shrimp is what keeps me coming back here. Their boiled fish is incredible and spicy! The cheese puffs are pretty much the best. All food is always hot and it finishes quickly so they’re always bringing out fresh food. LOOK: It’s pretty dark in here and the music too loud for my liking. I feel like I’m having dinner at a techno club and I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing… The tables are very typical and the booths against the windows are roomy and modern. Overall modern looking place. Needs a bigger waiting area with seats. SERVICE: That being said, waiting can be terrible at times. Especially Sundays. Expect to wait over an hour. If you can see people waiting outside, RUN. You will die of starvation waiting for a table. As of waitresses, they’re ok. Nothing special, typical chinese buffet service. All staff communicates through radio like the secret service. Makes me feel important and… secured. Lol PARKING: It’s in a shopping center so parking is annoying. Plus the spaces are tiny so its like 1.5 cars per 2 parking spaces.

Ok, it used to be good. When it first opened I would gave it 4 half stars. Now it just goes down hill. First, it’s way too overpriced now. it originally was at 11.99 a person, but in the recent years it jumped to 14.99 a person, now almost 18 a person. The food quality does not improve though. On weekends now, its so packed that you can wait 1 – 2 hrs, for a seat. it used to be worth it, now it’s not. The sushi used to be fresh now, its been sitting there way too long, even with the crowd. Crawfish will not be served on normal days so, paying that extra money is not worth it. beyond the crawfish, the sushi, the only other item that’s worth the money to spend is the Black Pepper Fried Crab, but sorry to say, that’s now worth it either. They over fry the crab that the meat are all gone, by the time you get to it, you sucking on a black pepper shell. So sad, that prices went up but the quality and food service is not up to par with it.

Wow, just wow. I thought this was going to be just another regular Chinese buffet. You know, the usual egg rolls, sushi, french fries, pizza, sauteed green beans in hoisin sauce, the same dang thing you find in 1000 Chinese buffets but NOOOOOOO, they had to be different. I don’t give five stars to buffets but if you’ve been to enough of them and then come here you might actually be wow’ed. Parking is a beach… yes, you know what I mean. And if you’ve been here before high noon you definitely know what I mean. And if you are one of those a$$holes in a SUV taking up two parking places, go to h3ll, your selfish and deserve to get your precious vehicle dinged. Best to carpool when you do lunch here or be prepared to waste 15 minutes stalking people to their cars. The quality of food here is just a notch above your average Chinese food. Yes, it has the same exact things as I mentioned but you can tell they either did things a little differently and then some, you have to try it just once in order to understand what I mean. Now, like somebody said, when you walk in, you think your in a club or something, the music wasn’t terribly loud but as you step in you feel like your in a strip club because of the two neo lighted poles in the middle of the restaurant. Please note I never said that I’ve been to a stripper bar before but just saying from what I hear *wink wink*. Service, who cares about service it’s just a buffet right? Well you will feel a little surprised to notice that your empty or trashed plate does NOT stay on your table or most likely will not be there as you come back with more food because these peole are efficient! They team work, yes, you won’t only see one person butt up to three, management has heard our cries for service even on buffets, now try getting that feat done on all Asian restaurants. Beer, what is different here than a regular beer? A freaking bear bong! Ok, not exactly a bong but if you have ever been to Brickhouse and ordered that tall 48″ beer they have it here. I wanted badly to take a picture but did not want to disturb the table of rough looking hispanics that were probably a little drunk from downing that thing. 48″ inches! the thing sat on their table which was I would say 36 «now take a 48» beer dispenser in the middle of the table and you’ve got a spectacle for people as they pass by. I’d say the amount of beer in there would rival a 12 pack of 12″ beer. Price, I did not pay since it kind of was company paid but rumour had it that it was about $ 12. I would have paid $ 14 for what I got. For all the drawbacks of parking, and just having the same thing that every Chinese buffet has all the positives still has it on 5 stars, just try it once please, I think you will really enjoy this one and maybe even be wow’ed on this one like I was. ============================================ Tip for New Unilocalers: One or two line reviews will most likely get filtered out by the Unilocal filter that is in place About a dozen reviews with at least 100 words will most likely get you past that filter.
