Turnkey Painting Plus

These guys suck big time. They cheat you out of a fair price. I had work done in sept 2014 and I spent $ 450 on 3 windows for windows sealing (outside). 4 years prior I had only spent $ 300 but I went through Angie’s list so maybe these guys were better.
Nope. They were worse. It’s now November 2015 and already there are leaks forming on the inside of the house. Wow you jerks could not even do a halfway decent job. You know what else these guys do? I obviously spent more than it was worth to them– they even outsourced the work to a painter who came to my house. So I paid extra and got shoddy and cheap work done. Stay away from these guys. The crew was very nice but seemed to go out of their way to cut corners. They bid Sherman Williams paint and used significantly inferior paint. When I brought this to their attention, they refused to address it. This was a large job and they offered a $ 300 discount. I’d gladly pay $ 300 more for the better paint. They dripped paint over the entire exterior of my house and «cleaned» it up by spray painting over it! Yep, they really took gray spray paint and sprayed over the white drops on both my brick patio and driveway. They also sealed my windows shut and did not completely paint the window sills. When I asked them to fix it, they took a crow bar and opened my windows, damaging every single window and painted the sills with a different color white from the rest of the windows. Painted my interior trim with a semi-​gloss paint even though I have egg shell trim. I now have two different finishes on the interior of my house. They refused to fix this. I also paid them to remove rotten wood from my house. They did little to zero prep work, no sanding down chipped paint, and removed only a small fraction of the rotten wood. They then proceeded to paint over the rotten wood. After one week the paint was peeling, chipping and literally sliding off my house. They came out to redo it but it was impossible to catch all of their many many shortcuts. When I asked for a discount because of all the trouble I had, they threatened a lawsuit. I would not recommend them.

Stay away from them! Is this company the worst out there? Probably not, but when they are not able or willing to finish a contract and they have to come over and over again, always using new workers who do not care about the results, it’s hard to offer good services. We signed a contract with them to build our kitchen cabinets: six months AFTER the contract was supposed to end there are still plenty of problems.
