This is a place where you will get help the minute you walk in the employees are very nice. If you are looking for a specific piece or part don’t waist you time at Lowes or Home Depot this place has it if they don’t have it they will make it for you.

I had a small water leak and needed a few small plumbing parts … went to Turner’s Hardware … on Hempstead Hwy … between 34th and Lang rd… The blue building with the BIG AMERICAN Flag flying out front… a salesman will greet you at the front door… you tell him what you need… and he takes you to the Right part … in fact he showed me a MUCH MORE Simple … EASIER way to fix my problem… for less than $ 20 ! ! !
Had I called a Plumber … it probably would have cost me several HUNDRED dollars ! ! !
They have Tools … electrical … plumbing … paint … screws … bolts … pipes… ladders … etc.
So …instead of «getting Lost» at Home Depot or Lowes… check them out… you will be glad you did !

For those familiar with the service at Buffalo Hardware, this should suit you even better as the place is huge and they have people to guide you through the labyrinth.
I managed to stump them a few times, but I am an old pro at finding out what a place does not have.
Friendly, competent, people, tending a spectacular inventory. What could be better for a male shopping trip, I was in and out in three minutes with four diverse products, one of which had to be brought from the back and was loaded into my trunk as it was deemed too heavy for a customer to lift.
They do not really cater as much to building contractors as the big box stores, but if you need a thingamabob, whojamaflip, or a sky hook, they probably have it tucked away somewhere.

This place is the prefect mom and pop hardware store. Go here instead of Home Depot. They have great and friendly service that will assist you in whatever you need. With everything from plumbing, to home and garden you can definitely get it here. They even have a lumber section.

Great place! The people are very helpful, friendly, and they know what they’re talking about.
It seems as though they have EVERYTHING crammed into that store… I was surprised at how much they actually had available. I think I might be able to find almost anything there!
It doesn’t look like Home Depot or Lowe’s inside– but they have knowledgeable people that are very helpful. I have the impression that it’s a mom n’ pop shop, so I would stop here before going to one of those big places like Lowe’s.
They have a new loyal customer. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a local hardware store.

This place beats the big box chains hands down for basic hardware needs and for specialty items! You will never find yourself wanting for help, and the prices are competitive.
