I bought a personalized gift card at Toys R US for my son as part of Santa… since he wanted to go buy some Skylanders himself, well today when we are about to pay at the register… they tell my son the balance is $ 0…long story short is that: Someone stole the info probably of their systems and used my sons card in LA on 12⁄24 @ 8 pm!!! Way to go Toys R US… your ruined Xmas for my son!!! And I had to spend 1 hr on the phone to have someone fill out an investigation form and I still have to wait 3 days for someone to call me! My son couldn’t use his gc and I had to purchase the toys with my credit card… because I could not bare the dissapointment face my son had. I will never purchase from you since this is not the first time I have issues with Babies R US or Toys R US. As they have send wrong and duplicated items in other orders and then used the excuse that because I paid with paypal they can’t refund… or delivered baby shower presents at my doorstep without a box or a packing slip and the box got damaged due to rain. And don’t even start me on the poor customer service they have at 1800 or even at the Katy Fwy location. I pledge to NEVER ever purchase at toys R US online or at any store!!! The worst retail experiences have been with them.

Waited 30 minutes for an online purchase I was there to pick up, because of a mix up of product numbers! Really?! There went my plans for lunch!

No employees on the floor to help. Lines were super long and slow. They did finally open another register, though, but right after manager came over and told our cashier he had to cover someone for lunch :/So the extra help lasted 5 minutes. We asked where the wrapping paper station was and the cashier happily pointed to it… followed by the manager saying, «Oh, yea, there’s no paper.» Sounded as if it’s been without paper for a while and he didn’t seem too concerned. He just walked off. Nice. Will not return.

Where did all of the Toy’s R Us go? In the competition with your local stores like Walmart and Target, it’s hard to keep a store running especially when you are around 15% more expensive on average with your product. Their new strategy is to combine the Babie’s R Us stores with the flailing Toys R Us and split the store almost down the middle with the items. When you walk in, to your left hemisphere of the store are the infant/baby items. Strollers, bassinets, baby clothing, baby bottles, pacifiers, baby beds and such. To your right, you will find your children’s toys like Lego’s, Barbies, board games, candies, toy cars and such. To the back is where the bored adults might want to hang if they let their kids run loose in the store like some certain parents did. The children’s electronics are here but so are Ipod speakers, your ps3’s, Nintendo’s, Wii’s, pay per month telephones and more. Parking is ample even though there is always a spill over from the Chuck e. Cheese caddy corner.

TERRIBLE customer service!!! Let me explain to you what happened on my last recent visit to Toys ‘R Us/Babies ‘R Us… — The horrible woman who«helped» me was awful at helping me! She continued to scream my first and last name over the walky-talky so everyone in the store could hear as well as everything I ordered online. — Then all of the customer service employees refused to help me when I told them I was charged twice on my order. — Then the horrible woman began acting like my order was lost as did the man searching for it in the back(they eventually found it). I stood there waiting on them for over 30 minutes! — If Toys ‘R Us sends me an email saying my order is ready for pick-up then I expect it to be ready and waiting for me when I get there, not the other way around! I will never use the registry or buy anything from Toys ‘R Us again!!!
