Friendly staff, clean hotel, room was very clean, and the breakfast is wonderful! I was very impressed with this hotel. Family friendly environment and very close to the airport.

Loved our stay for the weekend! Clean rooms & comfortable bed. Only thing I disliked was I was expecting to pay only a certain amount but they charged me an extra almost $ 100 for a deposit! I booked it online & it didn’t mention any extra fees & the lady didn’t even explain it to me when i first checked in. I found out when I saw the draft in my bank account and then she decided to tell me they put a hold on those funds as a deposit or some shit. Just prepare to be charged more than what you booked the hotel for.

Well let me start with the Staff I encountered because they were awesome. I want to give a huge THANKS to Holly and Yaritza(hope I am spelling it correctly) for there professional demeanor and downright friendly hospitality. They are extremely knowledgeable about the hotel itself and the surrounding areas. When you visit this locale hopefully one of these young ladies will be on duty… if you do… you will see EXACTLY what I am talking about. The hotel itself can be tricky to find because it is in an industrial park so to speak. The address will be difficult for your GPS to find initially but here is some advice that will help you greatly. If you fly into IAH Airport and you put 4015 Interwood North Parkway into your GPS be aware when it has you make your last left hand turn look directly left when you do or you will miss the hotel all together. You will be turning off of JFKBLVD and when you do it will look like your turning into the woods… LOL. Don’t be alarmed just cross over to the other side of the road because it is a two lane road but you have to make a U-Turn to get onto the Interwood North Parkway. Now all that I mentioned above is only necessary if your renting a car… which I highly recommend because downtown Houston is about 20 miles south of this hotel. The Hotel does offer a great shuttle service and they will pick you up right from the airport no matter which terminal your at. Now again if you chose that route just be advised you will be spending all of your time at the hotel as there is nothing to do in this area without a rental car. When you check in your will notice the lobby is simply beautiful. They have a mini store area called«in a pinch» that offers those«essential» items you left at home… for a small fee. The dining area is huge… which means they offer breakfast. Speaking of breakfast it is AWESOME… with everything from fresh fruit… muffins…cereal…juice…coffee…and tea. Along with Waffles… pancakes…sausage…eggs…bagels…oatmeal…and milk for the kids(adults are welcome to the milk as well… LOL). The lobby has HiDef TV… comfortable chairs and they have a great computer along with a printer just in case you need to print your boarding passes(don’t we all… LOL). You will find this to be a welcome surprise because the computer has an application that list a TON of airlines that you can click directly on… go to that site and print your passes. I have never seen anything like it and I have stayed at MANY hotels and motels in my day. The hallways… public bathrooms… pool area… laundry area… and gym are absolutely IMMACULATE. The rooms are large with a full size fridge… dishwasher…sleeper sofa… Flat screen TV… Microwave…range top… GREAT A/C…and two awesome work tables. There is free parking and Mon-Wed…they offer a happy hour with free wine and snacks. The beds are extremely comfortable and the floors were very clean. Basically for 64 bucks a night… I have NEVER stayed in any place better. Now here is my only complaint(LOL…don’t we all have one). The water pressure is a bit low to begin with but as long as you shower you won’t really notice the difference. I asked both Holly and Yaritza about this issue and they told me because they have so many rooms and depending on how many guests are using the water at one time… that will cause a low flow. That seem like a very reasonable explanation and it certainly was not a BIG deal at all. Well I am sure I am forgetting something but let me just say I plan to visit Houston on an annual basis going forward and the only place I EVER plan to stay will be the TownePlace Suites Marriott Intercontinental Airport. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!

It’s not about the room which is ordinary but the personal service. My 4:00am taxi never showed so the night manager, Michael, took me to the airport. So nice to have someone be proactive.

The staff was awesome — especially Jonathan, who checked us in. We used their complimentary shuttle service to get to and from the airport. Jonathan was very helpful with that. He also told us about the complimentary buffet breakfast which included hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bagels, fruits and cereal. Our room and bathroom were clean and the bed was as comfortable as a 4 – 5 star hotel! And, they have the service to to match too — hence the 5 stars for this place. They have a washer and dryer on site too for those that need it. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay nearby the Houston Intercontinental Airport! Parking is complimentary.

I’ve stayed here a bunch. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is great. For example on the housekeeping; they don’t leave the showerhead pointed at the back wall of the shower — which really pisses me off by the way because of when you turn it on to steam your clothes and find out after 10 minutes that you’ve flooded the bathroom — I know, I know… first world problems. Other things like arranging toiletries on a clean washcloth and then folding the washcloth over. This is a small touch, but it’s representative of more expensive properties — and its appreciated. But now for the good part. The breakfast and especially dinner here is top notch. Not over-greasy(except for the biscuits and gravy this morning — which was also very good :-)), it actually qualifies as healthy in my opinion(chicken breast and sauteed vegetables with rice, for example). It’s located about 2 miles from the airport in a wooded area. Really quite nice.

Spent the week here for business. Nice place; quiet. Friendly staff. Location very close to airport entrance, which may be a plus for some. Given that location, its interesting that its in a heavily-wooded forest/park. There’s a bit of a walking path, and its surrounded by trees; that was good. Free breakfast and dinner/snack foods were welcome, because there’s no place to eat within easy walking distance. There’s an outdoor pool, and small gym. Rooms are equipped with a kitchenette — sink, fridge, 2-burner stove, which I did not use. Because it was a very busy convention week, I paid a very heavy price per night, so that was a drawback, but couldn’t be helped. If I were working nearby and got a decent nightly rate, I’d come back.(Tip — the hotel next door has a bar if you need to grab a beer.)
