I came here and ordered a Torta. The lady tried to sell me a gordita. Because I was in a hurry I was going to accept the gordita and get back to work but then when I got ready to pay the cashier said my money was fake. I was really shocked by this so I went to the Dollar General and asked them to check my money and it was completely real. I can only assume that they just didn’t want to serve me there. That is their right. My only complaint is that if they didn’t want to serve me all they had to do was tell me upfront or put up a sign saying they have a right to refuse service. They did not have to lie about my money being fake.

I saw this place when I went to Lopez Mexican Restaurant. I decided to stop by the next day after work. At first I was a little nervous to enter because I did not know what to expect. I walked in and saw a small Mexican candy section, some racks with flour tortillas and tostadas, and a small fridge. In the fridge there were Mexican sodas and chorizo. I bought the chorizo in a small tub instead of links and it is some of the best I’ve ever had. Now I am not sure how to order the corn tortillas, but I ordered a pound which equates to a small package from the grocery store. The corn tortillas are very authentic(I’m from El Paso and we would often go to Juarez, Mexico for our tortillas). A flour tortillas are average at best. Making myself huevo con chorizo with the corn tortillas was like having my Grandma back home cooking for me again. In my book that is unbeatable.
