Found this place via Unilocal while visiting and had a great time. Andy was an awesome bartender!

I have been here a few times and the last time was a so so experience. This was a while ago and from what I have gathered the management has really stepped up and care about there customers. It is an experience to go here, so be prepared for a wild time!

Hung out with my *Judy (gay best friend). This place was so much fun. We laughed and threw singles and got drunk on well liquor.
Okay the place is on Dallas St between Montrose and I45. I recommend GPSing it because going from my apartment it sent me through downtown.
So the parking lot is 5 bucks. The front lot is paved. Additional parking is dirt. It’s cool if it’s not wet out.
If you get there early like I did there is street parking available if you can find it.
Okay so when you walk in. The front door is hard to find. You walk through a fence then to a patio. Then the door is around the side. I’m sure someone will direct you.
The inside isn’t very glamorous. It’s just an old montrose gay bar. With a bunch of gyrating strippers. They are very touchy; so do not get offended. I was a little at first when my ass was grabbed. So I just grabbed his and kept dancing. Lol
So ladies. If you just want to go to a club without all the men hounding you. This is the spot. And the gays love buying drinks and telling you you’re fabulous! They might grab your ass but it’s a cool trade off.
I’ll be back. Oh, and bring singles to tip the dancers.
And guys if you feel like you’re sexy and want to test it. Amateur strippers definitely is the trend here. So wear cute underwear.

Tony continues to bring some of Houston’s hottest dancers, entertaining show hosts, and a friendly bar staff to keep bar patrons engaged and entertained. Knowing that he’s involved in the community, cares about all of his customers, and treats everyone with mutual respect is icing on the proverbial cake. Whether supporting fundraisers, hosting Royal Court functions, customer appreciation events, or the weekly shows, there’s something for everybody. Your bartender will keep you informed. Seriously love this bar! The staff is super friendly. Gilbert is my favorite bartender, he’s awesome and makes great drinks. The dancers are hot and the emcee Anne Marie is hilarious. Friendly atmosphere, over all great place to hang out!

Went to Corner Pocket last night
was within walking distance from downtown did not know what to expect
Slow as it was Monday but bartender Jordan was a complete pro !!!
engaged me, got me talking to other regulars and made me feel like a regular
for an off night had a good time plus enjoyed being paid attention to.
Hopefully other bar tenders are like Jordan !!!
and if a slow night busy must be so much fun !!

I have been in Houston some 15 months now, I’ve been to Tony’s several time. the place is filthy.
The drag hostess’s are ok. the drug use in the electrical room just off the stage area should stop.
the strippers are mostly snobs… they are young guys so maybe thats why they act the way they do. I usually tip them $ 5.00 at a time not $ 1’s. I have been ignored most nite that i’m there. The strippers girl friends shoudl NOT be allowed in the bar while the strippers are working. they are working its not a time for Date nite with their GF. its a business not a drug den.
There is 1 bartender that works the main bar, he has body tatt, he is not at all focused on the customers. there have been times, like last nite 6÷6÷15 where I stood there for more than 15 minutes with money in hand and he was to focused on him having a good time and not serving the patrons… then when I went to the back bar inside the bar tender didn’t give me back the correct change .he kept some for himself. not cool. as I am usually a 30% tipper. his loss.
I cant really recommend this place. it could be awesome .they need a real manager to go in there and shake things up.
I think the Drag queens run the Bar… I have NEVER seen any one that looks like they are in charge.
THE DRUG USE NEEDS TO STOP.

I really enjoy spending the evening with my pals at TCP. The bartenders are just a little heavy handed with the booze, which are a great price regardless of what kind of bar this is. The dancers are all quite friendly, if mostly and obviously straight. I have never felt pressure to tip anyone, and have always felt a lot of gratitude when I do. Some of the guys are too macho for the atmosphere, but most of them are really nice. The music ranges from speaker-​breaking bass to disco and back again. The drag queen hostesses try really hard to impress, and are extremely easy to approach. Everyone is made to feel like a family here.

Ok, so me and my friends are regulars here.
How do you tell if you’re a regular? If you know most of the dancers’ names and even have nicknames for some of them (there’s Leech, and Ratchet, and there’s Flat Ass — just to name a few), then you’re probably a regular. And if the bartender (our favorite is Josh, who mans the back bar) has a special drink he makes just for you and your friends, then you’re probably a regular.
Fridays and Saturdays are when they’re busiest and when most of the dancers are out. Thursdays and Sundays are more relaxed, so if you don’t like competing with others for the dancers’ attention then those two days are your best bet.
Like others have mentioned, if you’re a prude or if dive bars aren’t your thing, then Tony’s is probably not for you. Otherwise, this is a great hangout just to chill at or to stare at half-​naked boys. There’s a few regular creepsters who I always stare down and make slashing gestures at when they try to approach us, but otherwise everyone is friendly and just looking to have a good time. And the boys always try to make sure you’re having fun, so make sure you tip them because they work hard (har har).
Just please don’t play pool on the pool table — that’s not what it’s there for! (pet peeve of mine, sorry).

This is an ok place. I’ve had fun there, and I’ve not had fun there. The outside deck has a great view of down town. I’d say the prices are comparable with other bars in the same category (EJ’s, 611). The dancers are cute, all Hispanic and mostly straight. I notice that they bring their girl friends (or groupies) and if there are women in the crowd, they seem to get most of the attention. definitely a place where regulars, regular.

If you like your bars just a little on the trashy side, this place is for you.
I dig it. But I like a little raunch now and then. And it’s the other side of the spectrum from the gay bars in Montrose, of which I only like one. This place is friendly. In Montrose you either get uppity or creepy. I don’t get that feeling from staff or patrons here, aside from maybe one or two of the dancers.
It’s a wild Saturday night out. Lots of fun, unless you’re an uppity prude. And if you are, I’m sure Montrose will welcome you with open arms… I mean catty stares.

Oh where oh where do I start?
Well, this is a very hole in the wall/​divey bar and if you like that and the combination with strippers then this is your place. I was thoroughly shocked when I walked into this place and have to say I will never be back. The inside is dirty and nasty (I really don’t want to know what is on the floor) and one of the polls was coming out of the ceiling as a guy was on it.
Maybe it was me being a prude (I don’t like strippers or strip clubs) but this was not my cup of tea.
And although I did not like it the rest of my group had a blast and it seems so did all of the other patrons.

This is one of those spots that after being there for an hour you realize that you are having a great time, but don’t remember deciding that this would be the choice.
So…the drinks are very strong and they are cheap. The crowd is… ummm…interesting. On my first visit some months ago, I found myself literally sitting next to a mature gentleman that had an oxygen bottle and was playing Angry Birds on his tablet. I have also seen the ‘hipsters’ of the community stroll through having a blast. There is a drag show with Ann-​Marie and she is a hoot. However, Tony’s is pretty much known for their strippers — some of which can be a little rough around the edges, but aren’t most strippers (gay or straight)? A good thing that I like about Tony’s is that you can go there and not feel like you are a) being hustled by the strippers or b) being hit on by others.
The view of downtown Houston from the upstairs patio is breathtaking and a great place to enjoy a drink away from the boys on stage.
This is a low-​key kinda spot and everyone is welcome — gay, straight, male, female or in between. It is just a good time.

Yes, I’ve been to Tony’s. It’s fun. Not pretentious and definitely not flashy — unless of course you are talking about the strippers. For some, the party starts at the beginning of the night here for others after they have gone to all the other places. Either way, I’ve always had a good time. I just wear my sunglasses when I walk in. Not too sure how I look when I walk out. I love the bartenders!

Fuck yeah. This place is one warm cuddly hug — from a half-​naked, greased up, hard bodied man. Hey yoooo.
My colleague and I were barhopping around town, hitting up all the gay hot beds (pun intended), and of all the places, Tony’s pulled out all the stops.
No lines, no cover, no divas — well, there were a few queens, but that’s just part of the show — and no parking fees. Drinks were cheap, the fellas were more than friendly, and best of all, they loved sporting our Unilocal sweatbands on stage. I was so impressed, I had to pull out some cash.
Yes, it’s a dive. Don’t expect lasers or fog machines. Just cold drinks, some good music of all genres, cheap lap dances, and a kickin’ patio.

Too divey and cheap of a bar for my taste, unfortunately. Sketchy area but close enough to Midtown. On the other hand: good prices, free parking.
The patio outside is decent though.
