Tiffany Tarrant, MD

She is amazing. Being new to the city n getting pregnant right after, i chose her as my OB going by the Unilocal reviews. I am so grateful I found her. She delivered my baby boy last week. Very professional. Listens to your concerns and addresses them in the most reassuring way. Most of my appointments with her were late in the evenings but not once have i seen her tired and uninvolved. A true inspiration. I have enjoyed all my appointments with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a OB/​GYN

Dr. Tarrant is a rare find when it comes to doctors. I never feel like a number in her office or that she is in a hurry. She takes the time to not only answer my questions but also ask me a few of her own that wouldn’t cross my mind. It’s the small things that make you feel like someone really cares. She even remembers small life details when I haven’t seen her in a year (she probably writes them down to remind her to ask but who cares… it’s the effort!). I’ve been her patient for a couple years now and she will be delivering our first baby in January!

I have been seeing Dr. Tarrant for the past 7 months for my current pregnancy. I have never had a problem getting in touch with her office or making appointments. The front office staff is always friendly and easy to talk to. Dr. Tarrant always takes time with her patients and I have always felt comfortable asking her all of my pregnancy questions (which can be awkward :)). Even when I bring up current or new birting trends/​studies, she always knows what I am talking about and can discuss with expertise instead of brushing them off (as some older doctors may do). I find her to be a perfect combination of professional yet laid back. Even though this will be my last child, she will be my obgyn as long as she is in practice.
Since she does deliver babies, sometimes the wait can be LONG (especially if your appointment is at the end of the day) so try to schedule your appointment in the morning if waiting is a concern.

Since I have list written my review, I have had to contact Dr. Tarrant several times, which means that I had to talk with the people who answer and direct phone calls. I’m not sure what happened, but they have gotten to be sooo much nicer and friendly (and not a hassle!). Since this has been fixed, I’m giving 5 stars now.
Also, I forgot to mention in my last review that one of the best parts about Dr. Tarrant is that not only she is super nice and informative, but so is her nurse (Pam). She is so so so helpful and nice… couldn’t ask for someone better!

Dr. Tarrant is hands down the BEST women’s health-​care provider I have ever been to. Never once have I felt rushed or uncomfortable during a visit (and I’ve been to quite a few) and she has always been very sensitive to my needs as a patient. Example: I did not want a C-​section unless absolutely medically necessary when giving birth. Most doctors nowadays I feel try and push for this type of delivery because it makes life easier on them… not Dr. Tarrant. Unfortunately with both my pregnancies I did end up with a c-​section but not before Dr. Tarrant tried everything in her power to get me deliver naturally. Looking back in hindsight I’m so extremely grateful Dr. Tarrant made the executive decision during labor to execute a c-​section delivery because both instances probably helped saved my childrens lives. I trust her implicitly and will visiting her for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tarrant — going on six years now — and I’ve gotta say, she’s five stars all the way. She’s thorough, asks important questions — and makes it equally easy for me to ask Qs — and has a genuine care for her patients.
If you were ever a patient of hers at Women’s Health Care Associates, take note that Dr. Tarrant has relocated and now offices out of UT Physicians Women’s Center at Memorial City. It’s a farther drive for me, but she’s worth the trip. (Plus, I have an excuse to hop over to Memorial City Mall and do some shoppin’.)
For those looking for a new lady doc, I highly rec Dr. Tarrant. I actually carry a stack of her business cards in my wallet and preach «Dr. Tarrant» to all my GFs in search of a new gyno. Trust me: She’s a keeper.

As a result of mamograms, ultra-​sounds and a breast MRI, I was advised by Dr. Tarrant to get a biopsy. I have called her office 3 days in a row and no one will respond. It’s like maybe this BIOPSY could be a priority?

I could NOT have put it better myself, Farrah! She is the sweetest doctor, very caring, considerate and PATIENT! Very thorough, but doesn’t make leave you feeling afraid or up in the air about possibilities. I have really been blessed to have her on my «team!» Her nurses are awesome, as well!
