The Vitamin Shoppe

Very rude and poor customer service. Lack of knowledge of products and not determined to make sales. I understand people have bad days but not having any knowledge of products is bad for business. I tried both sales associates to see of maybe the other one knew but I was wrong.
I ask which pre workout sells the most and has good feedback and the lady with the attitude pointed towards the back and said there are many, go check for yourself. I was in awe when she said so. At this point I just thought she was maybe having a bad day so I left her alone.
The other girl looked away as i approached her.
Take your business elsewhere. Hopefully this review serves as constructive criticism and makes this business better. I’m not calling any names out because I care about people but corporate needs to sit down and hammer in some knowledge and basic customer skills to the staff as a whole.
In the mean time, take your business to neighboring competition; inside the mall. NUTRITION DEPOT is where everyone had recommended me to go to. SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Large location. Great selection of pre workouts. Definitely better than any GNC or vitamin world I’ve been to.

It used to be that the Vitamin Shop didn’t really have a lot of other name-​brand items outside of their store brand. But that is all changed. You can find a good selection of natural products that rival what you would find on
or even your local health food store. Check them out, make sure you sign up for the discounts and enjoy.
I’ve recently been looking for supplements to compliment some of the healthy things that I’m looking for these days and they never really fail to disappoint. Sometimes only have one or two bottles of things but I think that’s just inventory control.
At the checkout counter they often have free magazines and other reading material that you might find useful if you’re living a healthy and/​or bodybuilding type of active lifestyle.

Over-​priced and poor customer service. My visit was during their last hour of operation and i couldn’t be seen. Walked in like no one saw me, wandered about until some one indolently asked if i needed help. Most of their products were that over-​hyped name brand garb decorating their shelves like Vitamin Shoppe «with an E» is something serious. Wasted my time which wasn’t as bad as wasting my money. Accross the street in Willowbrook Mall is Vitamin World which is contrary to Vitamin Shoppe in terms of service, affordability and size.

Great place to get your vitamins. I trust the store brand that they have, so I am just about able to get all my vitamins in their brand. And in April and September they have their buy one get one ½ promotion so I am able to really stock up.
I do wish they would carry zinc in their brand with 15mg, or even 20 or 25. They carry 50mg and that is too much mg, so I have to buy a different brand that they stock that carries 15mg. They do have 10mg, so I might go that route and take 2. I need to do the math to see which way is cheaper.
Store is always clean and have helpful staffers. You can also get one of their frequent shopper cards and once a year or twice a year a get some really good dollar discount coupons.

As mentioned in my review of the Copperfield Vitamin Shoppe, I used to order online from them all the time. So when I noticed not one, but two, stores going up in my area, I was beside myself with happiness. Really, it doesn’t take much to please me. Then I went to this particular location, and didn’t go back for a year.
I gave it a chance. A couple of times. But every time I went, I was met by «muscle heads» who were non-​responsive and sneered with a little derision at my flabby physique (not being self-​conscious, I know that look when I see it). Then the Copperfield store ran out of something I needed, and when they called the Willowbrook store, the item was found in abundance. So I decided to give Willowbrook another chance yet again.
I am so glad I did! The staff was totally different… friendly, relatable, knowledgeable about things besides protein mixes and power bars. The selection was just as varied as the other store, but again, they’re always running out of my stevia, hence the missing star. Overall, great service, great prices, awesome staff.
