I bought a voucher off a deal site for a 90-​minute massage & facial at Phoneix School of Holistic Health. The lack of reviews made me slightly nervous but I went ahead and did it anyway. I’m glad I did! My job requires a lot of pushing and strenuous physical activity and my back had been aching for months, to the point where I couldn’t sit up straight anymore without pain shooting up and down my back. The girl who did my massage (I can’t remember her name unfortunately, I’m horrid with names) was super sweet, and the massage was super relaxing. The place is a school, so you’ll see classrooms as you walk around, but they have a really nice spa environment in the back. The massage was nice, but it’s my first one ever, so I really don’t have anything to compare it with. All I know is that my back stopped hurting right away, and that’s all I really wanted!
My main disappointment with that the «facial» was something like a acupressure facial, so they don’t actually put any products on your face, just massage it a little. That was pretty misleading, so beware of that!

One day I had a dream. I relocated cities in three weeks. I sold all of my belongings, shipped a few, trained my replacement, and packed what I had that was left and drove across country.
Those stressors called my body to a massage, but moving aint cheap.
Then I continued to dream: Phoenix offers $ 30 massages for an hour! I drove up and it started to feel like a nightmare. Initially it felt like no kind of place I wanted to take my clothes off and get a rub down, no matter how cheap. Luckily it was a classic case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The room was a far cry from the hallways or the lobby. It felt like a spa room. The therapist was great and nice. The massage did just what I dreamed I needed.
Then I woke up and realized I hadn’t won the lottery and had to start a new job. Blech.
