The Park on Memorial

I had the pleasure of living here for a year! The apartments are beautiful– inside and out. The grounds are well kept, and maintenance is very response. The price is reasonable, considering the location, and the office staff is great! I love that every apartment offers a reserved covered parking spot. It was so convenient, coming home late at night, knowing parking wouldn’t be a problem. My only complaint, is the bugs in the summer. Spiders, roaches, junebugs everywhere! This issue could be resolved if pest control was sent to the complex more often. Having said that, if this one issue was fixed, I would move back here in a heartbeat!

Finger companies will not let you out of a lease under any circumstance — so just exercise caution. If you get transferred out of town they will not work with you at all to get your unit re-​rented. A lot of available units so that must tell you something about the community itself.
Community has horrible parking issues (you get one assigned spot and covered parking is wait listed), gate attendant lets basically anyone through so do not let that fool you into thinking the gate attendant is any form of security. Walls are paper thin and be prepared to either complain or be complained about for just living in the unit.
I would never recommend this complex, lived there for 5 months and counting days until lease is up.
Racoons in the dumpsters were a big problem. One person I know had one try get into their bathroom through the ducts! There is construction going on next to complex so all day long there are diggers and construction noises (starting at 7am, even on the weekends). Would not recommend this community or this property management company.

I’ve been living here for over a year now and love it. I’ve come to know the management, maintenance and staff, which is a first for me at any apartment complex I’ve lived at. Usually they act like it’s a chore to have to talk to you. Not here.
If anything, the 5 stars go to the maintenance crew, who are stellar. About six months ago I noticed that I had a soggy carpet in front if my bathroom. I checked the walls and such for a leak and couldn’t find anything. I turned in a maintenance request and within 24 hours they had identified that it was a leak in my dishwasher and had replaced it. This is the norm when it comes to maintenance here and it’s comforting to know that if something breaks I won’t get screwed.
