The King of Solar Screens

Randy was very nice, gave me one price for any size window. He came within the week to measure and install my eight windows. I have to say I don’t think he was here all but 10 minutes for the install and was done. collected my money and was on his way!
I didn’t notice any issues until I went to clean my windows, hence the screens needed to come off to do this. I then noticed where the bronze hex head screws (2 per screen) were so tight they had bent the screen frames on all of them! I also noticed that taking them off most the screens were wedged on extremely tight, and on a few windows the screws were so close to the outer screen frames and NOT even thru my window frame for anchorage. Yes, great price and friendly service, however, the install and craftsmanship was less then par. If he would of not been in such a hurry to measure, make and install my screens before rushing out of town for vacation, I’m sure my screens would of been better.
Bottom line, nice guy, good price but poor rushed craftsmenship and installation.
Personally I would not recommend or use them again.

I hired the King of Solar Screens to install 21 solar screens on my town home. The price was great but the customer service was subpar. I saw Randy, the owner at Blast fitness and told him that my back screen doors would not lock, the cross bars were left off of two windows on the side of my house, and that we wanted to put a solar screen on our office window. Randy said,“no problem, I will be out there before the end of the week.” He didn’t show. I called him and he told me the weather had put him behind and he would get to it this week. He never showed up. I called Randy again and we set an appointment for Wednesday May 20^th, again he didn’t show up. After several calls, he returned my call. Randy said,” Do you expect me to break away for just one screen.” I said, ” If I had 5000 screens would you of come over.” He said, «yes, one screen is just not worth my time.» I told Randy that I could not give him a good review for not finishing the job. Randy said, ” If you give me a bad review I will sue you for slander and I will come after you with my guns a blazing. Just ask the last guy that gave me a bad review.”
I just asked Randy to be honest and tell me if he was too busy and not make promises he could not keep. I guess small jobs and customer service are not important to the King of Solar Screens. I was told to find someone else to do the job and that he would see me in court.

Fantastic pricing with this company! They showed up on time, that alone was awesome, within a few minutes they had all windows measured and promised 1 week turn around. They did just that! I love my screens and i’m so very glad we hired this company and recommend them over and over again!

Randy with King of Solar Screens did an excellent job on my windows. I highly recommend them. Screens were installed in less than a week.
