Update due to Home Depot Customer Service giving us a discount on the rental of broken equipment. They contacted me through Unilocal that day– I emailed them and they resolved it to our satisfaction plus will contact the store to get the issue corrected. They were very friendly and quick– 5 stars for the Customer Service division!

Went to Home Depot to ask for a simple check valve. Walked in went to the plumbing area to find a check valve came across an Home Depot worker and ask if you guys have this item that I showed him. His words are«sorry I have to go clock out»(andre) Then I walked over to customer service and asked for another plumbing person and she called on the intercom and asked if a plumbing person could come up to the front to assist me. Waited there for 5 mins and that person never showed up to customer service. So the customer service lady told me to go to the manager(Hispanic). I asked do you guys have this item. And he strictly said«no». Didn’t even want to try to attempt to help me out. So then I got fed up and left. This was on January 2, 2015 @ 7:10pm.

Came here to see about some tile. Was asked ro wait for assistance. After 25 mins of waiting asked another associate if he could get me some help. He says, «Sure sir I’m looking for someone to help you right now.» as he slipped off into the nether world that is Home Depot. We asked another associate if she could call for help with the same results. It took having to call a MOD to finally get some help. This isn’t the first time we had crappy service at this location. Most of the time associates JDGAF about helping the customer as they nonchalantly point to obscure locations for you to go look for an item by yourself.

I usually use the magnolia store for tool rental but, stopped here Friday after work to pick up a belt sander for a Saturday project. I tried it out briefly Friday night and it chewed up the belt in minutes. I pulled it off and found strings and pieces of old belts lodged inside, used tweezers, pulled it all out. Got up early yesterday and replaced the belt. Started sanding and in minutes the dust bag fell off, thank goodness I was wearing safety glasses and a mask. The bag was held on with electrical tape. It was 2 female connections. not the right part or missing a piece. Turned it over and the belt is fubarred again. So i bring it back to the store after showering about 8AM. Dude at the counter was «Why didn’t you call last night?» umm because my intent was to use it today. No apology for renting me a useless piece of crap. I gave 2 stars which is pushing it. Only because he didn’t charge me after I questioned him wanting to charge me for something that should not have even been rented.

We have spent plenty of time in this home depot :) We’re upgrading an older home, and there have been many days that I have stopped by HD twice in a single afternoon. We’ve always had good customer service and making returns has been easy. Two thumbs up!

This location has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I went in to pick up my online purchase– a Kitchen Aid Grill for my husband on his birthday, and was met with hostility from one of the managers– Rodney. He did not have the grill ready and preceded to lie saying they had not received the order until a few minutes before I arrived. When I asked about possibly purchasing the display model– he rudely said I could but that he would not discount it. After looking at it and seeing that it had several scratches on the hood, I asked again and Rodney rolled his eyes, said no, and when I told him he was being very rude to me, he just replied«ok.» They do not care about their customers obviously here and because of this situation, I got a refund on the grill. This man is horrible and should be fired.

My local HD is pretty good. There is usually someone available to get help locating what you need. If they carry it — I’ve been referred to the local hardware store several times already for items that they don’t stock parts for, even though they sold it new. Mostly just your typical HD.

Don’t know why this place has such an overall low score. It’s really a nice store as far as Home Depot goes. Any time I’ve gone there all staff has been friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I love that it’s easy to get my military discount at checkout. At Lowe’s they have to get a manager or lead cashier to approve it and that slows down your checkout. Not so at Home Depot. Show them proof of military service and the cashier is authorized to approve it on the spot. No waiting for someone else to come over for approval. No holding up the line and pissing off the other customers. Lots of sales today in the garden center but I was on a mission so didn’t stop to browse. Ordinarily I would stop and when I do I hit the 50% off rack. You get some great half dead flowers at ridiculously low prices. A little TLC is all it takes to bring them back. Give this store a chance. I think you will be very happy that you did.

Just like every Spring I was dreading going to buy my lawn and garden supplies because of the fact that there are always too many customers and not enough employees to help them. That wasn’t the case when we went here today. There was a door greeter that asked what we were looking for, and pointed us in the right direction right away. Knowledgeable employees in many of the isles helping customers find what they needed is something that I’m not accustomed to this time of year. If you stop in this store and need lawn and garden supplies, be sure and look for BJ.(I think that’s what her name tag said). This little lady knows her garden stuff, and was extremely helpful when I asked questions. She even came around a couple of times after helping us to make sure that we were still ok. She is also very tough and a hard working woman from what I could see in the little time we were there. I’m not sure how it is on the weekend, but today(Friday), I felt like I really received good service. I was really close to giving 5 stars just because of BJ, but this Home Depot didn’t have a few of the plants that I was looking for.

I avoid this particular Home Depot location at all costs only because I need a hardware store with knowledgeable sales people.

My toilet was leaking. And what do you need when your toilet leaks? A ballcock. Yes… a ballcock. This nifty little device controls the water supply in the tank. If something goes wrong, the tank can overflow or leak. Mine is leaking. Ballcocks by the way were invented by Thomas CRAPPER. Calling apartment management to get someone out to fix it is similar to waiting for a Comcast technician. I’ll just do it myself. However… I’ve never been to a Home Depot store on this side of town. This means I’ll have to spend a lot of time looking for a ballcock because I just can’t ask where one is while keeping a straight face. And that’s the first obstacle. The second obstacle is being treated like an idiot when you ask a male. In a condescending voice, they always ask, «Do you know what to do with this?» Of course I do… it’s perfect for kicking your arse. So guess what… I actually found it at this store in about 30 minutes. It took 30 because I just HAD to stop in the paint department to look at the discounted colors even though I can’t paint anything since I rent. Sigh. I miss weekend projects and I was looking around the store for ideas. This store is actually pretty organized and they had plenty of plants to choose from in the garden section. So I bought a ballcock and TSP Solution(great for cleaning walls). My toilet is fixed. I DID know what to do with a ballcock.
