I’ve only been in the restaurant for lunch and it was amaze-balls! They have a full salad bar where you can make your own salad or you can order from the menu. I got the Seabass and it was heavenly!(see picture)

Been to a few lunches with SPE(Society of Petroleum Engineers) in the last few months here. The food isn’t bad, but not phenomenal by any means. For a $ 35 lunch(with a speaker), I’d just expect something a little more. I’ve always had chicken covered in a thick sauce, so I can only imagine the calorie content of that sauce. They do provide a salad to start out with, I just with there were more fresh vegetables with your meal that weren’t drowning in the sauce with the meat. This probably wouldn’t be my first choice for a special occasion, but it works out just fine for a business lunch.

The food is excellent, the service @ the café is awesome(absolutely love Maria & Mama the cook is great), and the facitilites are pretty good. They do need to refinish their raquetball courts. Management is very attentive to your needs. The dining room has good service, but the café has better service. It is not cheap to be a member, but it is an oasis in the poo hole that is the greenspoint area.

You may think you are walking into the ExxonMobil presidents club, which you essentially are, but welcome to the most delicious and beautiful lunch venue in the Greenspoint area(I would say all of Houston, but I haven’t sampled that many restaurants so I want to be fair) Expect a lot of suits here, but small families can also be seen dining as well. I had the lobster bisque, seafood risotto, and the caramel cake for lunch… hea-ven-ly! The portion sizes were perfect so that I was pleasently full. Even though I didn’t pay, it is the prices that really set this place apart — granted it was lunch. You get away with a five star dining experience for a three star price. The soup was $ 6, entrée $ 16, and desert $ 6 those are about the average prices and the food could have easily been priced high, and I would have paid! I believe they are actually only open for lunch so if you or a friend works in the Greenspoint area and you are looking for a special occasion lunch, this is THE place to go! The only possible downside is that it is a little tricky to get to and that even though it’s walled mostly with glass windows, the view is primarily of the top of another building. Still, I can’t wait to get back there!
