I really enjoyed my experience at The Great Rug Company. An employee at Loloi suggested them as the most reputable store in the area. I worked with Lois to find the perfect rug for my dining room. I had a rug picked out that was back ordered and Lois held it for me when it came in. She was very knowledgeable about all of the products and the pros and cons of each rug type. I felt like Lois listened to what we wanted/​needed in a rug and steered us away from things that would not be durable or suitable for our specific goals. We were encouraged to take rugs home and try them in our space before making a purchase. I will definitely be going back for additional rugs in the future.

I’m a licensed Interior Designer, registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners for the past 11 years. Unfortunately, I can’t say one good thing about The Great Rug Co, it’s owner: John, or any of the employees I’ve worked with there. They were not helpful or responsive. They carry a lot of viscose rugs (knock-​off «silk-​look») that hold dirt & don’t last like wool or real silk & the prices are high for the quality of product you’re getting. There’s plenty of other rug companies out there. Simply put, «avoid at all costs.»
