I enjoy this place for breakfast when I’m in the Memorial area. This is a great place for those who like breakfast foods more than once a day. Several options omelets, skillets, burritos, waffles/pancakes, regular plates etc. They have fresh juices, good coffee and good fruit as well. Not too expensive considering the neighborhood. Always a solid play.

This has quickly become our favorite go to Sunday breakfast/brunch spot! Cesar has always been leery of going for breakfast/brunch on Sundays because of church letting out and the crowds and wait; however, I have convinced him if we get there by 11 everything should be good. Each time we have been here, we have been seated immediately. Service always seems to be on par; someone is always there just after we are seated to get our drink order. We are absolutely in love with their dark roast coffee, and they are always happy to bring us lots of sugar in the raw. We seriously have never had an issue whatsoever. I, not being a huge pancake enthusiast, find that they have really great monthly pancake specials that they seem to rotate with the season. I absolutely loved their Red Velvet Chocolate Chip pancake with cream cheese drizzle. This month is Lemon-Berry Ricotta pancakes which are topped with berries and a tangy lemon curd; these are divine. Their waffles are sooooo yummy! They had a Berry Berry waffle special recently that was topped with strawberries, blueberries, chocolate chips & a strawberry glaze! The Strawberry Banana waffle is topped with fresh slices of bananas, strawberries, pecans, whipped cream and powdered sugar. Once they even had a Chocolate Strawberry waffle topped with lots of macerated strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Another positive is that they really do know how to make a poached egg! Cesar had never had poached eggs before and had them when he saw I asked for them and now that is how he asks for them every time! OMG, and that red pepper sauce — now that is some good stuff right there; it is made from jalapenos that have ripened to red… seriously can’t have eggs without it now so we bought a bottle to keep at home! Also the eggs benedict is also superb; the hollandaise is tangy and creamy smooth. Bacon is always crisp; ham is smoky and flavorful.

Great hardy breakfast to start the day with wide selection of pancakes, waffles, and all sorts of omelettes to choose from. Place is nice and clean, food is good, but service could be a bit more attentive.

The food was excellent, specially the biscuits and gravy as a starter. We also ordered their specialty Juice(Carrot or Kale) that you really can’t find anywhere in all of Houston. :) Server was very attentive, can not recall his name but he is possibly the oldest server in this place. Give him thumbs up for detailed service. We will definitely be back. Wish it was open longer hours.

Excellent food. but POOR service. Egg white omelette made incorrectly and by time it came out. All other Diners and finished meals. Pancake and waffles not served with syrup and had to go to kitchen to get anyone’s attention to return.. Check out is handled poorly. If u have to go to register to pay.. Do it faster than 5 to 6 minutes per customer. Good food. Poor customer service

I enjoyed the breakfast and will come here more often. I the coffee was not that good and tasted very mediocre.

The food was very good as well as the service but it seemed overpriced for what it was. Now don’t get me wrong, it does amaze me what places are charging for breakfast now days and this is a Step above. But not that large enough of a step to justify the price. But it was not so much that I wouldn’t go again. Nice atmosphere and service was spot on. Portions were large enough and everyone at my table liked what they got and some to go boxes were needed.

Ordered the Crab Cake Omelette and was told that a half order was just $ 1.00 less So I asked for a regular and taking half of it home. I wish they would be accommodating for those of us who cannot comfortably consume a full order.

This was the worse breakfast we have ever had here. I had to get almost everything such as utensils from another waiter. Sent our meals back three times. I am very disappointed.

We stopped by for breakfast and walked out without having the opportunity to put our names in. When we arrived the hostess ignored us and another couple ahead of us, and in the five minutes that we waited to be acknowledged she was extremely rude to other patrons and servers. Many people were waiting outside in the rain to be seated while there were 3 open tables inside. Once we got her attention she gave us a one word answer and then turned away before we could ask to be added to the wait list; needless to say we walked out and will not return.

This place is alright. I’ve heard about this place but never been till now. Food was delicious. Food with out drinks about $ 11… overall it was ok, feels homey like a «mom & pop» place. I will eventually come back.

We have dined here for years but lately the service has gone down. We waited 10 min and finally had to ask someone to come and take our drink order then the alleged manager came and took our food order and still 30 min later no food. We left extremely unhappy and will not be returning anytime soon. We have told many people about this place and have come here for years. Unless something is done about the service we will tell our friends and clients to stop coming. Time to look for a new breakfast place so sad!

I’ve always loved the food here, but lately the service has gone DOWNHILL. We have had to wait 10 plus minutes just for someone to take our drink order the past 3 times we’ve dined here. The hostess seems like she doesn’t want to be here, and will stare at you with a half-asleep expression on her face before even acknowledging that you’re waiting on her to seat you. I heard a diner complain to the hostess that they weren’t happy with their service and would not return, only for the hostess to roll her eyes and ignore the diner completely. I don’t know if there’s new management, or what, but there are only two or three servers who will smile at you and bring your food before it’s cold! Today we received our meals before we even got our waters and coffees…

The waffles is great, so is the French toast; their omelette is good as well. The turkey sausages seems to have a slight odd taste to it but I go here a lot for the waffles and French toast.

Good place with good service and good American diner fare. Nothing dazzling or spectacular, but if I was in the area and the opportunity arose, I’d go again and take friends.

Ordered the Egg Fritata, for the price they are charging ~ around $ 9, the quantity was very less. After spending $ 11 on breakfast and coffee, one would wish for a nice hearty breakfast. Lot of distance between the table and chair so not really a comfortable situation to eat.

Love coming here for breakfast! It’s my nieces favorite place. It is always clean and the assistant manager is always working, every time I see her she’s either hosting, serving or even working the kitchen. The staff is always nice. Something they need to work on is the consistency of the coffee. Other than that! Is always great to come here(;

I have always loved this place. Eggs benedict and french toast are my favourites. Place is always packed. I am giving them four stars because of their slow service. We had to wait for twenty five minutes and the people who ordered after us got their food first.

Food was edible, but the portions are so small. The waitress I had was not friendly and seemed bothered. I am a big breakfast person and I was still hungry after spending $ 10 on two pieces of French toast, two eggs and two slices of bacon. Not worth the money, but the classical music in the morning was lovely.

Ordered 2 egg breakfast, Turkey sausage patties, English muffin, potatoes, and hot chocolate Favorites were Turkey dausage, English muffin and hot chocolate Plenty of parking at 7am on Saturday Service is slower than IHOP, but food taste fresher and less oil is used. The price is slightly higher but they serve enough to take to go. Tasted acakbia bean coffee, and It was delicious.

Im a big breafast person and I can tell you that I was pretty let down by this place. Yah, rather have iHop, twice a day. To begin with its over priced for what you get, IF you get it, took them about 35 min to bring out our breakfast. Note: It was a Sunday I suppose their busiest day of the week. Coffe is OK. NOTHINGSPECIAL. Service is slow, waitor was kind but slow. We actually had do ask for everything 2 times. It was weird, as if he didnt know what to bring out. Like, you are a breakfast place… there’s only gonna be a set standard few things lol. Atmosphere wise, its nice and clean. Things looked well kept. While you wait to get a table there was free coffee outside(too bad it wasnt good coffee though, guess you win some and you lose some) . Food wasnt bad, just was good. It was really basic. As if your grandma made it at home, without the love. lol I would rather goto Le Peep for the price we paid there. They are about equal. For the taste of the food, the price should be half of what they charge. I already know I have other places to choose from, any day.
