My friends and I went here for the first time last night and we loved it. You can actually hear the people at your table! The music is a good volume(they seemed to play a lot of awesome 90’s hits and covers, like The Cure and so on) and the liquor selection was unbelievable. They’re more of a martini lounge. I had the almond joy martini and it was phenomenal. It’s chic and classy but casual. Prices were as I expected. About $ 7-ish for my drink and about the same for my boyfriend’s Moscow mule. There wasn’t a huge crowd of kids(ya know 21 – 22 year olds) bit a good mix of late twenty-somethings to fifty-somethings.

Knowledgeable staff, excellent service, laid back atmosphere, and great martinis! Tends to get crowded on the weekends nights, if you want a seat show up early. I like to go after work for happy hour to avoid the crowd. The spicy Bloody Mary martinis with jalapeño stuffed olives are great if you don’t want something sweet.

This is a terrific, grown up bar that I wish served food to go with their awesome bar-ness! They do have some great options for takeout, but that’s not the same. I wouldn’t take a group there or suggest meeting there only because we usually snack and graze when we drink. But because the drinks and the quiet atmosphere is so awesome I might take my husband there on a Thursday when they are serving steaks. And we would enjoy a unique Clear Lake venue very much!

They were not lying about the older aged crowd at this bar. Very nice atmosphere. Went with a small crew nice and calm night. Both male bartenders were very nice and kept the drinks coming without us having to hesitate at all to call for the bartenders attention. Will definitely re-visit.

This a quiet, little, quaint spot tucked off in Clear Lake. The bartender is attentive and the drinks are superb. Like I mentioned it is small with a few«low» couches, bar stools and bar area. That is not a negative thing being that it is catering to the area. The martini list is outstanding and the descriptions fit the drinks to the«T». I frequent here a lot when I don’t want to go to Webster to the louder, larger bars.

Great drinks and great prices. Small, intimate setting(which is what I honestly prefer, not looking to get down twerking on some bar table to Nicki Minaj or anything LOL). A must visit for drinks after date night dinner, work socials, etc.

Great drinks, place is really tiny. Great for someone that loves old school hip-hop…super causal spot so don’t feel like u have to pull out your heels ladies.

Delicious drinks. Seemed like a place for older people and the music was not very audible. It’s a pretty small place. They had a great selection of drinks. I ordered the Flirtini and it was amazing. My friends had a cucumber patch and margarita and both liked their drinks as well. I probably wouldn’t go back unless I just happened to be in the area.

Cozy, nice place. Kinda small but perfect for a small group. We were lucky to score the small couch area in front for our group of 4. Great Drinks too. Bartender was fast and welcoming.

Love this place for a casual date night or meeting with friends. So many options for cocktails. We tried 3 martinis(pineapple, gummybear, and raspberry kiss) and they were all delicious. Martinis were about $ 7 each, not too bad!

Good prices for really REALLY good, quality non-watered down drinks. A local’s spot with a quint ambiance. You will NOT be disappointed in the variety of martinis offered. Man many liquors available for whatever you want. We hope you get Katie! She can pour a PERFECT glass. Consistently. It was something I had never seen before. My girlfriend, who bartends, was completely blown away. A+ my friends, Cheers!

Better alternative than driving out into the city to get to the other location. I actually used to go into the city quite a bit and was ecstatic when they built one here in Clearlake. Best thing about this place is the varied drink options, especially for someone like me who enjoys a good martini. Only thing keeping this place from being five stars is the somewhat lackluster attention from the bartenders. Otherwise, this is a good alternative to the other location if you want something less crowded and more cozy.

This is a regular spot for me on date nights. It does not have the same feel as the Houston location, but it is a great place to drop in before or after dinner. It is never overly crowded and you can always find somewhere to sit. The drink menu is not as extensive as the Houston location, but the bartenders are skilled. They also have some neat art pieces for sale on the wall. The artist is quite talented which makes for great conversation.

New life goal… try every drink on the menu! We love this place… it’s nice to have a place in Clear Lake where you can get a really good drink without being in a dive or restaurant. Everyone who works here is super friendly and there is a great variety to choose from, from girly(lookin at you Flirtini) to straight bourbon for the manly men out there. Date night, post work happy hour, pre or post dinner drinks, gathering with friends… this place is great for it all!

Definitely a hidden gem! Great selection of liquors. One of the best in the area. Even though it’s a lounge, there is a TV for big game days.

I’ve never been to the Davenport in Houston, always planned to go but just never went. Tried this location one random Saturday night. Crowd was average age, 40ish — my friends and I were the brownest bunch in there — music was decent, bartenders were nice. I wanted a hot toddy for the cold night but they couldn’t make that. Can’t get it all! We stayed for one drink then headed out. Wouldn’t mind going again but wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

Let me say had I not had the horrible experience that I recently had, this place probably would have obtained 5 stars from me. If you care to read about my experience, here it comes, if not, skip to the next paragraph for an overall summary of the place. I came in and asked to reserve a section for a small group for my birthday on Thursday June 26. I came in because they don’t have a phone number to be reached at. I was assured that my section would be reserved for 9:30 and if any problems came up I would be called. I had dinner with my group(7) and noticed we were running late, I figured it would be ok since no one had called me. I arrived there at 10pm to see someone had just sat in my section(they hadn’t recieved menus yet). I expected them to be asked to move but instead I was told that since I was late, my group would have to huddle up around a table for 3 until more chairs became available because they had a full house. At that point I was too upset to logically communicate so my bf chose to speak with the guy who«confirmed» my reserved table. To make this very long story short, after a few people left, we were given two small tables to push together and the very apologetic guy who gave away my section told me to order what I wanted to drink and then he left for the night. I suppose a business decision had to be made on their behalf but a phone call would have been nice. We were uncomfortable and my cupcakes took up all the room on our tables. The guy who made the mistake was very nice and sincere, I can’t say the same for the other guy at the bar. This place is very small and intimate. The drinks are perfection and the choices are endless. They range from sweet and girly martini’s(Almond Joy) to hair on your chest shots(The Mind Eraser). There are two couch areas here and besides that, you’re sitting in bar style mini tables. The bartenders are friendly and skilled at drink making. They don’t play m, uch music like the one in Houston and it’s not as dim in there either. Great for an after work drink or first date! They also just started a steak night on Thursdays. I’ve been here 3 – 4 times and I can’t wait to go back and try something new.

I’ve stopped in a few times after work for a drink, usually less than 10 people here at that time. Nice place for a martini. Won’t hold a huge crowd but that’s kind of nice as well as a bit more mature crowd. Wish there was light snacks to nosh on though.

I’m a huge fan of the Richmond location, and this a great alternative to driving into the city. The ambiance is intimate and relaxing. The martini menu is vast and the bartenders are always knowledgeable. There is also a good selection of fine whiskeys. The only downside is that it is a tad small, but other than that it is a must see if your looking for a spot that isn’t crawling with the recently legal crowd, if you know what I mean :)
