I may be in my early 30s, but after decades of squinting due to poor eyesight and overly-expressive facial gestures … I’ve developed a few slight wrinkles here and there. Is it horrendous? No. Does it bother me? Not really. Do I want to do something about it? Why not?! Botox can be expensive — with 50-unit vials priced around $ 550 – 600. And most people need at least 40 – 50 units. The good news is that it lasts 3 – 4 months, but, still that’s still a lot of money. The great thing about The Botox Bar is: 1. You can organize Botox parties in-home to get a discounted group rate. 2. The doc comes straight to you, preferably weekday evenings or most hours on weekends, and brings all the supplies, including the numbing agent; and he properly disposes all needles and supplies in a medical facility. 3. Injections are done by a board certified surgeon — Dr. Paul Mann — and not by an esthetician(a common occurrence at most med spas). 4. Dr. Paul Mann and his wife operate this small side biz and I fully trust him. He did my Lasik eye surgery last year and I love my results. The 50-unit vials can be split, so if you and a friend want 25 units each, that’s doable(though, I think anyone considering Botox should at least get 30 – 35 units to fully see the results). If you can get a group to commit to 4 or more vials, the price drops, so gather up the gals and goils and have a lil Botox gathering. Your selfies will look SO much better!
