Came back here even though they made me wait a really long time last time, max helped me with my oil change and it was back to being 20 minutes or less! I try to stay faithful to my auto services, and 30 $ oil change in less than 20 minutes? Yes please. Literally in and out, and there are so many other auto shops in the area I still only go to TBCA.

Max is awesome honest and fair what more could you ask for in a mechanic. My husband and I found Best Choice on Unilocal gave them a chance and Max is now our main man. He consistently followed up with us before repairing our vehicle. Even when the problem was bigger than he had expected (our car had flood damage and we didn’t have insurance) Mac told us if he couldn’t repair it he would refund us half of our money. Who does that!!! If you are in need of a mechanic look no further than Best Choice, it’s truly the best choice!!!

Great experience. Max went through what needed repaired and finished the repairs quickly and on budget. I was very impressed and my car drives like a dream again.

My air conditioning quit blowing cold air August 2014. I took it to a couple of places and they all said it was my compressor and quoted me from 900‑1300. I didn’t have it do I rode around for nearly a year melting. I call to get another estimate and as soon as I told Max what type of car I owned (Nissan Altima) he asked me to bring it in to look at it because he didn’t think it was the whole compressor. He was RIGHT! I only needed a new coil and clutch which he ordered that next day and had me in and out for $ 500. Great service and I appreciate an HONEST mechanic!

Max is nice and friendly like everyone says, but Max had a bad day. The complaint I would have with Max is he told me he would call with an estimate and he told me he would finish before lunch. He never called me and it was close to 3:30 PM before I got my car. I had to call his shop 6 times before locating Max and getting an answer. If the job was going to take longer than anticipated then a phone call was in order. It was a simple fluid change that takes an hour to accomplish. My car was in his shop from 8:30 AM — 3:30 PM. I give 3 stars for poor service.

I was panicked about my engine light being on and thought my car would break down on me. I wish I would’ve asked the guy’s name, but one of them was very patient and explained to me that I had nothing to worry about and helped reset that light and they were busy!

Max the mechanic and shop owner has to the the friendliest and honest mechanic in town. Clearly explains and never over charges. His labor rate of $ 80 per hour is very reasonable. You can bring your own oil and filter and he will just charge labor. Great Christian values.

I’m hesitant when it comes to mechanics and auto shops but thanks to the reviews I came and they were right! Max the store owner was GREAT and knows his stuff! I called 45 minutes before hand to see their prices and when I found them reasonable I told him to order the parts and that I would come right after work. I got there and 50 minutes later I walked out with my car fixed and paid the same price he quoted on the phone. I’ll definitely be back. It’s hard to find a trust worthy shop. My car runs great! Btw they have WiFi and cable if you were wondering.

This place is great! Max is the most personable helpful shop owner I have ever encountered. I needed to get my new dual horns added to my 2010 Mazda 3 and get new inner splash shields put on. Not only did he say it would take an hour and a half probably and it ended up being only an hour, but I paid LESS than the price he quoted me originally! I’m a salesperson and I strongly believe in «under promise and over deliver» and he exceeded my expectations! I told Max that he’s gonna be my go-​to guy for repairs from now on no question because of the service I received. They weren’t pushing extra repairs on me either which I appreciated. I’ve had a lot of horrible luck with many mechanics before and this one sure seems like a winner in my book! Again I must say Max is a great guy, I probably wouldn’t have been quite as patient waiting had he not been so wonderful! Word of advice: DO NOT go to F2 motorworks OR cornerstone auto those places took A LOT of my money before I realized they were crooks!

I took a car that I was thinking of buying. They did a thorough check and pointed out all the problems it had. Most importantly, the showed me the signs of a serious accident that was not reported in the CarFax. They also explained them in detail. And they did all of it for free.

Thank you MAXIMO! So many mechanic shops are rip-​offs all around rosenberg area. They want to charge a arm in a leg for something so simple. I rather go to someone who is willing to help. You have my business from now on.

Great place to get your car fixed and they can be trusted to give a fair price and quick service. You can bring your own oil and filter and they will do the labor for $ 10.

Love this place! Have been using Max for the past 2 years from anything from a simple oil change to other replacement and maintenance work. I’m a woman in my mid-​20s and feel totally confident taking my car to Max and knowing I will received a fair price and good work. They beat all prices in the areas as I have gotten 2^nd estimates numerous times.

Trustworthy, reliable, fair prices, excellent customer service, and a usually quick service time. The owner Max was great and seems very honest about repairs.

What makes a mechanic a great mechanic?
1. The fix the car right the first time.
2. They don’t make you buy what you don’t need.
3. The are finished within a reasonable amount of time.
4. The costs are reasonable.
5. They are friendly and care about their customers.
I give them one star for each of those and that’s an easy five star review.
In my case, I had a small problem on my car. Something I knew should be an easy fix and probably did not require any parts. I felt that if I took the car to the dealer, it would take a whole day to get it repaired and I would be asked to pay for parts that I really didn’t need.
I took my car here. I’ve never been here before, but the reviews were great.
They had my car in the shop and repairs completed within 30 – 45 minutes. No parts required. They were very friendly as well.
i’m a HUGE fan of these guys. I felt like i was dealing with very honest and hard working people who are committed to doing the right thing for their customers.

I decided to take the chance in trying this shop based on it being close to home and also with the positive reviews. I had my car towed there and turned out I needed the water pump and thermostat replaced on my BMW. They communicated very well on how long it would take and what would need to be done. sent me a quote to even verify the parts and labor. I did call my dealer to get a second quote but this shop offered the best price. They worked with my extended warranty and things went smoothly. Vehicle was fixed within 2 days. When I came in to pick up the car, mechanic came out to talk to me to explain everything. I definitely would recommend them.

I haven’t needed a service place for a while (company car), but turned to Unilocal in the Fall when that changed.
My first trip was a quick headlight repair and oil change on my Altima, followed a month later with a 75,000 mile check (with about 6 items to be done). Both times they were very friendly and helpful. They worked directly with my warranty company and my portion was very fair and the work was done quickly. They kept me informed throughout the process and followed up afterwards.
They definitely earned a 5-​star rating and I will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I learned about Best Choice Auto from reading reviews on Unilocal,and I’ve been coming ever since! Originally, I had problems with my water pump and overheating. Best Choice Auto took care of it, and now my car is running great! I’ve only had to get a few oil changes since then. :)))
