TGF Hair Salon

I had the WORST hair salon experience. I originally planned to do my hair myself for my high school prom, then on the day of, I changed my mind and decided to get it done professionally. Most places were booked. I called TGF Hair Salon, and the woman who answered the phone told me that there would be no wait, and that she could immediately see me to do the waterfall braids I had requested. After getting there, I waited TWO HOURS before being seen. The woman working there kept on telling me «only 5 more minutes… 5 more minutes…». Random people starting walking in, and she did their hair BEFORE mine, despite the fact that they were walk-​ins, and I had called ahead and been waiting. Once she finally saw me, she admitted that she actually had no idea what waterfall braids were. I showed her pictures on my phone, but she still couldn’t do them. I finally settled for just having my hair curled. The curling iron she used was sticky and had other people’s hair stuck to it — UNSANITARY. I walked out of there looking like a poodle because my hair was curled so poorly. The woman had the nerve to make me pay full price for my service. I would have argued the price, except I had already missed dinner/​prom pics and I was late to my prom.
I filed a complaint online to TGF Hair Salon headquarters; I received an email saying a representative would call me on the phone in order to discuss my experience, and no one ever called me. Even the headquarters have terrible customer service.
TLDR; inexperienced/​long wait/​awful customer service/​awful quality service/​unsanitary

I went to get this perm here the first man and or woman did take me a the last minute. it did not turn out good. so I told them I went there the next day and the re perfumed my hair. I told the lady I felt my neck burning. I asked her to look she said it was fine. I went home my neck still was hurting so I asked my fiancé to look. omg I have chemical burns all over my neck. do not go to this place. I don’t think they have a clue what they are really doing.

I’ve tried this location twice with two different stylists. I guess fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice shame on me? I came out with a color job with hot roots from a ‘color specialist’ and bangs that I’m pretty sure my 4 year old niece could have done better. All in all, no bueno-​stay away and spend your money elsewhere!

I love my hair stylist, Shae. I have always had a great hair style even when I’m having a bad day :-D !! The stylist are amazing and management is awesome!
