I wish there was a part on here where I can review doctor services/​competency as well as office staff. I want to give this guy five stars but can’t seem to do so for a few reasons.
First off, make no mistake — Dr. Taylor truly is the best at what he does. I am so glad my orthodontist recommended me to get oral surgery with him because my alignment is perfect, surgery was easy and I was back to work in a week. If you want the best service and results, go to him.
With that said — it was definitely pulling teeth (no pun intended) to get an appointment because the guy is so busy. Most appointments I had with him, I was seen upwards of 1 hour after my scheduled time. And because he’s located in the Med Center, you have to pay for parking. I know they had some transition of office staff but it was so difficult to ever get a hold of someone on the phone.

Dr Taylor did my surgery 14 years ago, and all is still great. He worked closely with my orthodontist at that time, and everything went smoothly. I felt NO PAIN after the surgery and bedside manner was awesome. Overall, He knows his stuff, and you’re in good hands with Dr. Taylor!!!

Since I was required to have jaw surgery, my orthodontist referred me to Dr. Taylor as my designated surgeon. According to my orthodontist, he had known Dr. Taylor for over 20 years or so. Dr. Taylor is one of the doctors that I love and trust. He is very funny, competent, sharp, honest, passionate and enthusiastic with his practice, etc. At the very beginning of our meeting, he made it very clear to me that both of my jaws would need surgery in order to correct my overbite issues. His daughter, Patti, is the one of the nurses also did an excellent job on explaining the procedures in details. Although my surgery was a very big deal and sounded scary and complicated, he had done a total outstanding and amazing job with it (I came out of the surgery room safe and sound). The recovery time was much shorter than I expected. He definitely had made very sure that I was fine before releasing me from the hospital. For those know will go to him for jaw surgery, just keep in mind that you are in good hand. As long as you follow his words, you will do just fine without hassle and worries. FYI, I had my jaw surgery back in the middle of December 2008. Right now, I look much better, eat better, and feel better with the correct bite. My grinding habit is totally gone with Dr. Taylor’s help. :)

Best in the business. Great guy, he knows what he is doing, explains everything in detail, spends time with you and uses advanced technology. For oral surgery, this is the guy to go to.
