Should one find themselves in the area, and also find themselves with hunger, ignore the fast food marts, and hit this place up! It’s awesome! They have the real thick tortilla chips, they’re served with 2 salsas, (the green is delis), queso, and the pickled peppers and carrots that are typical of Jalisco, Mexico. I want to try more but I can’t stop ordering the caldo de res, tis a beef soup, tis also delish. Interestingly everyone here is drinking coffee with their meals, do not fret, I too love coffee. So I indulge, and I like!

I sat for a while and ate off a plastic plate, watching the business start to hum around 10:30 in the morning. These guys are very fast and the lady taking orders seems to speak three kinds of Spanish and English too, making everyone feel welcome. Try their lemonade, it is worth it. I was going to go for something other than lengua, but I ordered it without thinking and it was superb again.
The salsa rojo is a bit on the chunky side for me, but with a nice level of heat without being overpowering.
