Good service, food was tasty. Green sauce so amazing as always. I ordered the quesadillas plate it was a good portion but they could be bigger. I overall it was a good place to enjoy a dinner date with my bf.

This restaurant is currently having some renovation done, but still open for business and doing great! The food is always delicious! By far the best Mexican food around! The flour tortillas are so perfectly made! Excellent flavor! I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to spice, so if they tell you it’s not picoso, I’m telling you it is! ;)

I’ve been coming here for years; since I was a kid. I’ll admit that the last few years haven’t been their best but I came in today and was delighted to see that they are remodeling, it was much needed. The new atmosphere is clean with a modern touch. The staff is uniformed and the service was impeccable. But let’s not forget the food… it was excellent. Whether it’s new management or something else, this place is better than ever and probably the only spot in this area that can satisfy my cravings for Mexican food.

Good Mexican food! Get the tacos al pastor. Great service with limited English but that’s not a deal breaker at all. Very cold beer great margaritas and they have liquor. Very fast too.

This place serves authentic Mexican food. I always order the chilaquiles verdes with pechuga de pollo! Plenty of cheese to give you a heart attack So freaking good. I noticed a lot of bad reviews on here for this location but I know the manager personally(I eat here atleast once a week) and she would of easily solved everyone’s issue. It seems like most of the reviewers issues could of been solved.

Stopped in after an 8 hour trip from San Juan. I was thirsty, hungry and 290 traffic was a mess so I pulled off at the first exit from BW8 on 290 and here it was. Beer was cold, salsa was fresh, beef and shrimp fajitas were acceptable. Nothing extraordinary but good. Service was also satisfactory. All in all this is a typical Tex Mex joint with reasonable prices, portions and quality.

Terrible service. The staff treat you like you barged into their personal homes and demanded a home-cooked meal. We had to ask 3 times for salsa and when our order was incorrect the waitress argued about what we ordered. The food was decent but we were served after every other person that came in after us(the racial profiling was obvious). We won’t be returning nor recommending this establishment.

Shredded chicken enchiladas was filled with mostly fat and huge chicken bones. Very disgusting and will never go back.

OMG this place was the worse Arandas i have ever been to! Literally. I ordered the Seafood combo, it came with 3 fried shrimp(they were ok) stuffed crab(ok) and fried MYSTERYFISH that seriously tasted like a fish store. UGH! My husband ordered #13FAKECHILADAS(enchiladas) that came with flour tortillas filled with only half way fat filled beef. He also requested no beans, and received beans. Oh and the waitress was horrible. Upon exciting this place my stomach forcefully projectiled the seafood out of my mouth and onto the pavement. Will never go back!

I’ve only had the burritos and tacos and they are good enough too keep going back. Like most places in Houston the food tends too be salty. Service could be a lot better. This location does have one of the best waitresses at any Mexican restaurant I have ever been too.

I must agree with my fellow Unilocalers on this restaurant… just keep on going, not worth stopping by. Price for food is not worth it. Pass!

I have been eating at these taquerias for 20 years. I like their plates but have noticed they do not put as much cheese and meat on their dishes anymore. I believe it is about saving but makes me want to go eat somewhere else.

Just another cheap Mexican joint. Disappointed with their salsa verde. Not like the green one they usually serve at the other taqueria arandas.(oh! And their chips were that thick kind that they fry themselves-double chin for sure) And it doesn’t open late(till 3am) like the one in sw does, this one closes at 11pm. Food is normal. got the kabob faitas– legit. Friend got the Cali burrito– yup that burrito that can feed U for days.(ok just like 2). he finished only half– Sissy or jus not that good to finish? Both. Won’t go there again unless I’m broke and in the mood for a $ 3 torta. As for the service– pequito ingles pero that’s koo.
