Taco Cabana

Horrible service as usual do not come to this place Went tonight for a beef quesadilla and was told they were out of beef fajita and chicken fajita for at least 30 minutes drove up to the window and everybody’s standing around doing nothing manager tells me no it will only be about 15 minutes.
Taco Cabana seems to have the worst service I’ve ever had to deal with from always getting orders wrong to throwing my food around when I can see them just plain ignorance it is sad I can get better service at a McDonalds.

Staff was so rude we just decided to leave instead. There are to many other options nearby that will gladly accept my money to put up with that kind of attitude. I’m sure I’ll be back when this becomes a different establishment because I just can’t see it lasting much longer like this. I would give zero stars if it were an option.

I’ve been here a couple times and it is what it is. But I just came and it’s disgusting in there. The kitchen floor had trash all over it, there where no sauces out and it was just gross. It’s like going into a McDonald’s. Won’t ever come here again.

This single star is for the horrible service I got at this specific location. It started at the drive-​thru; The screen that shows what you ordered wasn’t working. The young lady taking drive thru orders seemed to have an attitude and sarcastically asked if I was on the phone while I was trying to make my order, and she didn’t seem to grasp the idea of giving an audible confirmation that she even heard my order. I’m guessing she didn’t because I didn’t get the drinks I paid for at first. I drove about 5 miles before I realized this. Upon my return to the store, the cashier seemed really happy to tell me that he wasn’t charging me for the drinks I had already paid for. THANK YOUUUU. Horrible service ruined what would have been a quick lunch outing. Never eating at this location again.

Taco cabana you have failed me again. As someone who used to love your food I will no longer accept food that is not even suitable for my pet dog. I knew I made a mistake when I ordered the cheese enchilada dinner, but I atleast thought it would be edible. After receiving a plate of food with enchiladas that were harder than a rock due to probobly sitting under a heat lamp, for god knows how many hours, I will no longer frequent any of your establishments. I’m just thankful I didn’t chip a tooth on the rock hard cheese which appeared to have been microwaved for about 15 minutes prior to serving. All that I’m praying for now is not to get food poisoning from the painful task of trying to eat one of these concrete disappointments. Best of luck, but no more for me.

HEALTH HAZARD. The first thing my family and I noticed was how dirty it was. The tables were strewn with sweet n low and napkins, the drink machine counter had puddles of coke and tea, and the bathrooms had «debris» in places were there shouldn’t have been. After ordering our food we waited well over a half an hour. When we approached the window to ask if it was ready (politely), we were informed that they were understaffed and had two orders before ours, which was understandable to some point, but then we were rudely asked to «learn how to be patient» by the girl behind the counter. Some time later we received our food on unwashed trays, but despite the filth, it must have been the near 45 minute wait for our food that possessed us to consume it in those conditions. As I write this one day after our experience, I am thankful to announce no one suffered from atomic bowl movements or projectile vomiting. All that is left to say is that this taco cabana location will never have to deal with our «impatience» again.

sorry I love the place my «go to» for fast food

I usually come here on the weekends and order either a cabana plate, or enchilada plate. I decided on the brisket tacos. The tacos weren’t bad, but the rice was a little dry. Overall good meal

Came for lunch around 1230. Waited for two people and fast service. The Mgr was running register. Very friendly and stated to take survey to get $ 2 off next meal.
I have read about how slow, I has my order and food delivered in less than 3in. Come here for lunch it was great!!!

Last night we went to this taco cabana… We live down the street and every time we get slow bad service… We walked into an empty restaurant and there were two girls standing there talking… They look at us and continue to talk… We stood there for five minutes or so until a young man came out, and he could tell we were upset. We didn’t make a scene we just order and he took our order and everything else. He did all the work, so I would say he was a hard worker!!! I think he probably made our food as well. He brought our food to us. When we left he was working the drive through. Must be hard running a place by yourself with 4 other people standing around doing nothing. Anyways we thought it was a nice night so we are outside, but guess what one of the employees came out too and sat next to us to smoke the whole time we were there… Pretty ride when there is a whole patio! We will probably still go because softball games always run late and we want somewhere to eat, and we can only hope we get the young black man that works hard there :)

breakfast burrito was OK. I wasn’t asked if I wanted salsa or anything but luckily I had condiments at home. drive thru was slow but only because two previous drivers ordered a dozen of breakfast burritos. Tip: call ahead when expecting to make a large order.

Slow service today… Smh

I love Taco C, especially late night but this location is mediocre at best. They tend to move slow and on multiple occasions have forgotten to give me salsa at the drive-​thru when I specifically asked for it. The food has always been good but if there is another location on your trip, you may want to just go to that one.

Slow service, not the best part of town, skimpy portions.
The two positives — open 24 hours with the dining room open for most of that time — and Sweet N Low available for the iced tea.
Otherwise, if it wasn’t on my way in and out of Houston, I wouldn’t stop here.

We went here really late, like midnight and so and it is busy. My mother and father in law have gone a couple of times and they say its not as good as some of the the taco cabana’s in the area. We had a good time. the food was good, the atmosphere was enjoyable and I didn’t feel rushed which is something I like at night. This is one of the only places in the area that has sit down service available after midnight.

We ordered 1 order of nachos to split.
45 minutes later, no food, no information, nothing. There was one cook behind the counter, the other cook was handling drive-​thrus. Lady at the register complained that her staff was too small and it was the GM’s fault.
Restaurant was filthy — 90% of tables were dirty, trash cans overflowing, and just in general a gloomy place. We won’t be going back for at least 6 months, hopefully they turn the place around.

Worst drive thru I have ever experienced. After five tries at repeating #4 Chicken with a Dr. Pepper, I had to give up and say never mind. For some reason the lady behind the mic thinks they only serve chicken fajitas, even after I said my order in word form as opposed to number form. I don’t do much fast food due to the lack of customer service, but my God this was a horrible experience.
The worst part was when I said never mind, I then had to wait in line for a good 10 minutes due to a single lane drive thru. I will never return to this location, and would give this location a negative star if that was available.

I love Taco Cabana for fast Mexican food. I pick up dinner here more than I should. This location is always clean and relatively fast depending on the time of day. I usually go in cause I like to get lots of stuff from the salsa bar.
Only complaint about this location is that it is on a very busy corner so HARD to get in and out of during heavy traffic times on 1960.
