i got a haircut and the wait was not long and results were good. Tons of parking and near a bus stop.

I do not recommend this place. The hair dresser was not helpful. She just wanted you in and out ASAP so she could move onto the next customer.

Being out of town and needing a haircut don’t mix well for me. I have a usual stylist at home with a set appointment every other week. I was desperate, and having seen a Supercuts TV commercial the night before I decided to Unilocal the closet location to where I was staying. Upon arrival, I was greeted kindly. Checked in and waited for the next available stylist(I wish I would have gotten his name). When called back the gentleman listened to my requests, did a great job of keeping me updated, offered mirror to see the back multiple times, carried on a good conversation, offered shampoo which I accepted and got a nice cranial massage that felt amazing and topped off with a warm towel over my face that smelled minty. All while laying in a massaging chair. My expectations were exceeded! Left feeling rejuvenated.

Ladies, DONOTCUTYOURHAIRHERE! if you are detailed about your hair, don’t come to this location. The lady was careless of my directions and just cut it even when I asked her to follow my slanted angle cut. The manager had to help her fix it! Literally just cut your hair yourself before going here. It’s no wonder I was the only girl in the salon. Maybe it works for men but not women… JUSTDONT.

I had Dulce or dulche and she was rude. I normally come here and get Jose who’s wonderful but I was in a rush and he wasn’t in. I sit down and she starts combing my hair and complains about it being tangly(my hair tangles extremely easy) and tells me about 4 times that my hair is damaged. I’m well aware hence the hair cut. So she cuts an inch off and I decide to cut another inch off. She said to me with an attitude«that’s what I told you in the beginning when I said your hair was damaged» and acts as if it’s wasting her time if I cut more off. Won’t ever get her again.

I recently decided to try cheaper haircut options, and Supercuts is about ½ as expensive as my usual salon. Based on some decent reviews here, I think it’s just very hit-or-miss, and not worth the risk. I showed up as the store opened at 8:30, and the stylist sighed at me as if I was inconveniencing her. She spent the whole time sighing and slapping my head with the comb. She argued with me when I asked her to make changes. She did not ask me if I wanted a mirror to see the back of my head; I had to ask myself when it became apparent she expected me to leave. Supercuts has a shampoo option, but she didn’t ask me if I wanted it. I unfortunately didn’t get her name, but it’s not like I’ll be back. Other people seem to have favorable reviews of this place, so just go at your own risk.

I have been getting my hair cut here for about a month now and have never been disappointed. There is rarely a wait and the prices are great. The service and personality of the stylists are great. You will feel welcome here.

Came here expecting the same quality/value I’ve received at previous Supercuts. It was a mistake. In fact it probably soured me on the whole Supercuts franchise. I used to go to Supercuts because my haircut is simple, so I prefer to spend very little to get it done. Supercuts used to be «budget» but still decent results. That has changed. This location charged about $ 17(I was used to abour $ 12.95 at the sugar land location), and none of the hairstylists(all females) were friendly at all. If I’m going to spend $ 17+tip on a haircut, I’m going to go to a real barber. No more Supercuts for me I guess.

I went here for a while because I don’t like to pay an arm and leg for a haircut. Ya it was cheap but it got the job done for two to three weeks at a time. Went through three or four different stylists before I settled on one. Everything was going well for while then it seemed like they started rushing through my haircuts. Slowly but surely the quality went down. Then I noticed that they had changed the front desk person a few times. I finally quit going after I had scheduled an appointment and when I arrived they said they didn’t have it down and no more slots where open. I let the first time it happened slide but after the second time I was done. On to the next one. it’s too easy to find another spot to cut my hair and probably do a better job.

Ask for the men’s special w/tea tree shampoo, its pretty relaxing. It can get packed w/men getting cuts before a wknd, but service is good, fast, and friendly.

I can’t believe I went here for a haircut. And I can’t believe I’m now writing a review about it… I chose to go to SuperCuts because I recently spent a great deal of money on a Ouidad haircut and later decided I wanted to get some length taken off my hair, but didn’t want to spend a lot at the Aveda salons that I normally go to. I really just wanted a few inches taken off my overall length and thought — how badly could SuperCuts mess that up? I went after work, on a Monday, around 6 pm. It was fairly crowded, mostly with men. They were very friendly and were playing 104.1 the whole time I was there. The hair stylists definitely seemed like they’re most accustomed to doing men’s haircuts. They asked me if I wanted my hair shampooed and cut or just cut. Were they going to cut it dry? Initially the stylist did not even ask me what I wanted to do to my hair; I think she just assumed I wanted a trim, but when I asked her to discuss it before she washed my hair, she was very receptive. The stylist encouraged me to cut my hair«all one length» instead of with layers(I think she really just didn’t want to have to do the layers). After cutting my hair(which she did very quickly and kind of without combing it first…), my stylist had to help another stylist with a more complicated cut, so they had someone else blow-dry my hair. The lady who blow dried my hair seemed very nervous and used almost an entire bottle of straightening serum on my hair. However, she did a good job, so I can’t really complain about it. The entire time they were cutting and blow drying my hair, they had it parted down the middle. When the lady was finished blow drying my hair, it was STILL parted down the middle. I laughed and asked if I could use a brush because that is not normally where I part my hair. She looked at me like I was crazy. Really? How many people part their hair right down the middle? Anyway, overall, I am very satisfied with the haircut. I definitely won’t go back to SuperCuts for my regular haircuts, but it was a not a terrible experience. I would go here if I were a man… or if I had little boys who needed haircuts. The saddest part is it wasn’t even that cheap. With tip, $ 50! I should have blow dried it myself at home…

I’ve been going here for about a year and I’m always satisfied with my haircut. I think I had one bad haircut but never saw that stylist again. Always quick as well. Overall I would recommend this place to any guys.

Ivania is now at Shine located in the Heights. It’s a cute little yellow house off W. 34th I think. Go see her, tell her I sent you!
