Supercuts

So, I had to be somewhere after work so I decided to pack clothes for the gym before going out. Well it never fails, of course I forgot my running shoes and I had wore dress shoes to work. Just great! Lol well then I needed to kill time and I have been meaning to get a hair cut; therefore, the logically thing to do is go get a hair cut! I walked into this supercut and I was greet by Melanie. She asked for my name and email to put me on the waiting list. Then, I sat down and patiently waiting for two people in front of me to get a hair cut. There were two cosmological there and it was actually pretty quick. Melanie was the next one free when it was my turn so she shampoo my hair and started making conversation with me. It was kind of nice instead of just sitting there in silence. After the shampoo, she walkede me to the station and asked how I’d like my hair cut. I explained it to her and she did exactly that. Before she started cutting she made sure of the length I wanted too. Overall, I had a great experience here and Melanie was super nice, friendly, quick, and professional. I would definitely go back for a hair cut if I was in the midtown area or after work! =)

I walked in to Supercuts early one morning last Autumn and learned my regular stylist was no longer there. Lucky for me, there was a new stylist named Shannan. Shannan was alone so that meant I got her as soon as she was free.
I told Shannan what kind of cut I wanted and when she finished, my hair looked even better than I had envisioned. It’s just about the best cut I’ve ever had. She’s so talented! I was a stranger and surprised at the way she was able to convert my wishes into a great haircut. (I know that’s the way it should be but it doesn’t always work that way).
I went in last week and got another great haircut. I told her that she’d better let me know if she ever leaves for another salon.
I never write reviews about anything but I’ve been so impressed, I had to say something. I’ve been a client at this Supercuts for 9 years but I believe I’d change salons to follow Shannan.

I visited this location with the only expectation I might get a bad haircut. It’s rare you walk into one of these Franchises to be greeted by a exceptional skill-​set Hair Stylist. I was on a time crunch, and needed to get my haircut and this was the closest place to me. I walked in and it was pretty busy, and I was greeted with good customer service. This is where my rating comes into notion. Tiarra was my, well technically Barber… since she has a Barbers license. I was so nervous, but she put me to ease. I have to say one the best haircuts I have ever had. Tiarra was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and had great attitude. I went in with low to no exceptions of a good haircut, but left extremely happy. There needs to be more Hair stylist and Barbers like Tiarra. I will be coming back to her for sure! I recommend anyone who visits this establishment to go to Tiarra. Her haircuts speak for themselves! What else could you ask for.

I saw Gloria and she was awesome. I am African American, have very thick coarse hair and a pixie cut (of all styles). She was personable, very skilled and gave me exactly what I wanted. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because of the wait (but to be fair, I didn’t have an appointment) and she didn’t use clippers to edge up the back. No worries, my hubby usually does that for me. I will be back for sure. Solid cut and service

Got a really bad haircut here yesterday. Couldn’t have been worse. Lady apologized after.
Have them a second star bc everyone is very nice.

Terrible management across the board.
I ended up walking out today after waiting 30 minutes during lunch. While I was waiting one of the three stylists decided it was time to take her lunch with 4 customers waiting.
What makes matters worse was that I was second in line when I arrived but fourth by the time I left. If you have appointments or reservations from your app just say something so I can go somewhere else.

First time I went to supercuts and my now new hairstylist Javier Rivera was amazing! Great communication with me understood what I wanted and gave me tips and opinions that I love to hear through the process of cutting my hair. He was well groomed, clean and had a great appearance, which is a good plus to me! I will def be coming back again to him!

I called at 5:30 on a Wednesday and got an appointment for a men’s haircut two hours later. There was no wait and Michelle was very friendly. They haircut was great! The only negative was that the older stylist behind us was complaining to her client the whole time about her job.

Great stylists but terrible customer service from some. Gloria is a superstar at customer service and styling your hair exactly how you want it. The time and care she spends on you is second to none. She should be your ONLY choice when it comes to stylists.
«Super-​calling» ahead for an appointment is worthless with Noemi. I called in and she still took a walk-​in ahead of me at my time. I simply left.
On another occasion there was an elderly woman whose car broke down who was asking for help. Immediately after my haircut but before shampooing she asked for a jump. In the 4 minutes (I looked at my watch) of walking outside to help she had someone in the chair cutting their hair. I checked out and didn’t get the shampooing I was planning on.
I have had my hair cut by her 10+ times (all of which I tipped 100% or more) before these last two experiences and it was great. Recently she has garbage customer service and I will never have my hair cut by her again.

It’s such a great feeling to meet a stylist for the first time and get the EXACT cut I requested. My hair is layered like sunshine! Thanks Bren! You are awesome!!!

Get Janet and you are golden. Have anyone else cut your hair and you are taking a big risk.

This place was not worth the wait.
It was my mistake for not making an appointment, and the wait was 1.5 hours for me. My haircut lasted no more than 15 mins.
I forgot my hairdresser’s but shes the older lady with glasses. She was friendly and talked to me during the haircut. However, i asked for a haircut that would take off my split ends and keep my V shape since thats how i normally cut my hair. What she did was clip up the top half of my hair and trimmed the bottom layer. My hair is layered so all the shorter layers still have the split ends. You can definitely notice where my hair was cut and where it was left untouched. It looks like im confused whether i wanted layers or a blunt cut.
She did tell me how she was supposed to get off at 7pm but it was already past 8pm. Im assuming she wanted to leave. I ended up having to get a second haircut elsewhere to fix it.
Yeah, shes nice but i wouldn’t go back.

a reeeeally long wait, but worth it if you get the right stylist. Make your appointment, or go elsewhere.

This is an update to my previous review. The stylists here cut my hair better than any other places I’ve gone too. The wait will be long IF you don’t call ahead of time and schedule an appointment. That was one detail I didn’t know about.

This is the best place in Midtown when you are looking for a good hair cut, but don’t want to pay the same price as if you were buying a new car.
Jessica is fantastic! I have been going to her for the past five plus years and she always does a great job. She will cut her goad however you ask her her to and you never feel rushed or like she is too busy to take the time to do a good job on your. I wouldn’t go anywhere ales.
Great location, good parking and if you call ahead you can usually get in and out in no time.

This definitely isn’t the most technically correct haircut I’ve ever received, but I can’t argue with the compliments.
Normally I would have seen my regular stylist in Atlanta, but I didn’t have a chance before my last trip to Houston. I was visiting my Heman and I didn’t even have to say anything about needing a trim (once he saw me it was apparent). We came here to see his stylist and for $ 16 I was fully groomed. Yes, haircut, shampoo, AND brow wax. Supercuts has lots of great coupons, so be sure to check before you go.
