Not a good one. Did a booking for a quick layover in Houston. The guy at the counter did not want to recognize my reservation that said we would come in around midnight, and also said we paid upon arrival. I basically had to discuss with him as soon as we got there, not worth it.

I was very surprised by this place. Pros: Clean Room Friendly Staff Nice Rates Cons: Pool area neglected Area little sketchy feeling I would comeback again, can’t complain about the area because Houston does not have a zoning law so you can have a trailer home next to a hotel if they wanted.

My bf chose this hotel because it was very close to his test center, but it was located in a sketch part of town. Not the worst hotel I have stayed in, but it was rather mediocre. My bf and I stayed on the third floor and the whole hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room had a queen sized bed, microwave, fridge, and a television with a good selection of channels. Bathroom was clean and had two bath towels, two hand towels, two face towels, and a towel for the floor. They did include complementary shampoo. Even though our room was non-smoking, I smelled faint cigarette smoke in the room as well as in bedding. There was a circular burn mark on the comforter and part of the bedsheets from what I am assuming a cigarette burn. Pillows were nice and firm though. We stayed from Wednesday afternoon until Friday morning for ~ $ 70 per night. The hotel is located right by the highway, so you will hear cars passing by at night if you are a light sleeper. The fridge made some weird noise so I heard that during the night. It’s a decent place, but next time we visit Houston, we will stay elsewhere.
