This is not my first check in here to this Subway(I just discovered that this place had a check in established – go figure! If you’re trying to eat«healthy» this is about as good as it gets in this area. For me, the location is somewhat convenient for me to veer off and get back on to my homeward bound destination. However, being that’s it near the feeder and the highly frequented Wayside, getting back on the road may work your patient. Be forewarned! Since this Subway is connected to a gas station with a Chase ATM in the front, the area stays pretty busy and there isn’t much parking as well in the front of the store. However, there are a few spots on the east side of the building, which is where I usually find parking. As far as the food is concerned. Well, it’s a sandwich?! Maybe I’m a little lazy to not go home and slap two pieces of bread together and stuff it with meat and veggies, but that’s what I decide to do once in awhile. Maybe it’s the fresh baked bread that draws me, but sometimes I do have a taste for Subway. If I had any other options to eat healthy in this area, I probably would pass on this Subway where on this last and final visit I saw some friends with wings(Eww), but they were in the small dining area where people decided to be complacent and not throw away their trash. Still, it has to be cleaned up to keep other clientele. Plus, I like filling my own drink(the soda fountain is behind the counter). What really bothered me was that the individual making my sandwich was too busy watching tv than fixing my sandwich. Was a little sloppy and had to keep drawing her attention to adding more veggies throughout the entire assembly of the sandwich. If it wasn’t for a headache that needed to be given food and bedrest asap, I probably would have left, but at last. I try to give people the opportunity to prove their neglect! Subway is just okay from the start. Customer service and ambiance is the only way a Subway could get more than three stars. I’m being nice with giving this place two. It never fails – don’t get food from a place connected to a gas station – unless you have low expectations.

Horrible service the manager was working the cash register and messed up my order twice. She also charged me for double meat when I didn’t get double meat. Then she refused to fix her mistake and wouldn’t get me my second drink that I ordered. The rest of the staff is great but this angry woman needs to learn customer service.

This subway is located within the Cheveron Truck stop at this same location. The Restaurant: Service(3.5÷5) — The 4 crew members behind the counter were fast and efficient, but not overly welcoming Parking(2⁄5) — The parking lot is shared with the Chevron. The lot easily fills up at lunch time. There are a few parking spots in the rear. They do have video surveillance, but park in the back at your own risk. Drinks(3⁄5) — They have the typical free refills on the fountain drinks, but the drink station is behind the counter. To get a a refill, you wait until a crew member has a free moment to fill it for you. Some Unilocalers may like that kids can’t put their dirty hands on the drink machine, but I prefer a self-service station. I like to control the amount of ice in the cup and get a refill without a wait. They serve coke brand beverages at this location The Food: Chicken Marinara Melt(2⁄5) — While the so called chicken on the Marinara melt kind of looks like a chicken breast, there is something with it that is just not right. The texture of the chicken is too soft. The color of the chicken is too white. And the flavor is very bland. Where do these Subway chickens come from? Italian BMT(3.5÷5) — I get mine toasted with American cheese, black olives, lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes, salt/pepper and mayo.
