At first when I moved here it was ok. Then I found out the apartments do not notify residents when things happen. There was a woman robbed and hit with a bat, a pizza man came knocking on my door saying he was robbed, and a man was robbed and shot in the chest. Life flight had to rescue him to save his life, but if you ask the managers, everything is fine. I do not blame the property for crime, but I do blame them for failing to notify residents! Corporate is a ghost! They not respond to calls, emails, etc. Ms. Carla, becomes unprofessional once she feels you start asking too many questions.

The apartment is okay. Be aware of the corporate — the only thing they care is taking more money from you. They charge high fees.

This is a decent complex, I will describe in point form the pros and cons. –noise — during the day it’s pretty quiet, not much going on as most people are at work. However, nights can be a little raucous like. –grounds — the grounds are fairly decent, rather plain but not bad by a stretch. The dumpsters get a little full and sometimes people put trash on the side and in front, but maintenance gets things squared away and there’s usually no trash lingering on the lawns. The siding has mold on areas that don’t get a lot of sun. There is a small enclosed area for dogs. BBQ pits are adequate. Pool is standard and clean, lawn chairs a bit dirty though. Side gate doesn’t open and has been broken for over a year now. –safety — of my knowledge, nothing major has happened that constitutes a safety concern. It seems relatively safe and I don’t feel threatened at any time. –neighborhood — right across from several schools, as a result a lot of kids and families live here. Decent area, close to the I-45 and 1960, shopping, dry cleaning, gas, donuts, fast food can be done within a 5 minute drive, yet the complex is not too close to the hustle and bustle of highways. –maintenance — they are pretty good and on top of their job. Whenever I make a call they respond within the day, sooner than later. The main man is real friendly too, and keeps his underlings at a high level of quality. –staff– the company that owns this, NOIPM, seems only interested in hiring people for the staffing positions that have previous experience in screening for celebrities and other famous hard to reach individuals, because no matter what, and I mean whatever you do, you will not be able to contact anyone in corporate. I sometimes wonder if corporate even exists or if it’s just a cover for them to be able to do anything they want and if have some ominous corporate to blame. I could go all day about the sleazy, scummy thing they do, but to sum it up… they live and breathe for taking as much money from you by charging you fees and changing documents. Help you? Only if theres profit involved for them, otherwise they’re obstinate.
