I can’t believe I’ve lived in this neighborhood over 4 years without knowing Stokes is less than a mile away. Every time we needed something, we’d truck it out to a big box store, killing a few hours of our day. Last weekend, it happened again in the middle of a DIY project. We were short a piece of sheet metal. Knowing Ace wouldn’t have that, I looked on my phone and found Stokes. We didn’t see any reviews, so I called ahead to make sure they were open and they had what we needed. Sure enough, they were open and have been for over 50 years! The place is huge inside and they carry everything from carpentry to plumbing materials. They had exactly what we needed and even ground down the metal shards for us. This is the kind of top notch service you get from a small family owned business. Top notch customer service — we will certainly be back!
