Came into town on business and needed to replenish my stock. Stopped by and decided I had found heaven on earth. Great humidor and the select is vast and wide. Would be hard pressed to hear someone say they couldn’t find something to smoke. Can’t wait to go back one more time before I head home.

My favorite cigar shop in Houston. The selection is enormous, and Jorge has steered me to great choices that have replaced prior long-​tem favorites. The place is always growing, expanding, and adding cigars. Highly recommended.

I can honestly say that over the last couple of years, I have seen a noticeable improvement of my prior concerns with this place. Jenny & Jorge have been extremely welcoming and friendly to all of the friends that I have bought by in recent months. I like the fact that they continually upgrade the lounge and look for ways to improve it. They are in a prime location & convenient to get to when you are moving around the city.

This place is pretty fantastic. I’m not big on smoking tobacco, but a cigar during golf or on special occasion is about as much as I’m into. I came into this place with a lovely gal i had been seeing who was well acquainted with the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable about ALL of his products. As you may have seen from my picture, his store is stacked. They have a private area for members that has a fantastic layout with the perfect airflow to ensure circulation and keep the stale bar tobacco smell from inhabiting his facility. Definitely one of, if not the most, solid cigar place you can go to get what you want.

What an amazing lounge!!! Since my first visit, the staff and members have treated me like family!!! For cigar lovers this place is candy land, they have a great assortment of fine cigars, and have several different shop exclusives!
Jorge, Jenny, Lara, Andrew, and Chris are all amazing. Though I live about 30 minutes from the shop, I always look forward to going in.

It was early in the summer of 2014 and I had just moved to Houston from Los Angeles CA. I was sitting at the park across from the Hilton in the Galleria area, and a man walked up to me while I was smoking a cigar. He wore a stetson, alligator skin boots, and had a buckle larger than my face holding his suit pants up. He asked if he could smoke his lunch with me, asked if I was from California (it was fairly obvious at the time given my slothful state of dress), and then proceeded to tell me about Stogies World Class Cigars.
I went a week later, and since then, have been going at least once a week since. This is, hands down, the finest store for cigars that I’ve found in the Houston area. The selection is great, the prices are fair, and the lounge is comfortably furnished with leather chairs and couches, multiple flatscreen televisions, and beautiful end tables. Most importantly, though, the staff are knowledgeable, and pleasant as you could want, while the regulars who stink up the place are routinely a great bunch of guys and girls.
Owner Jorge deserves special mention simply because of his warm demeanor, welcoming presence, and masterful knowledge of the contents of his humidor.
Outstanding service, outstanding atmosphere, if you’re looking for a good smoke you should definitely try it.

Jorge knows how to run a shop– My favorite cigar place in Houston with a huge humidor and plenty of seating. Whether you run into Jorge or any of us employees, they’re all tremendously helpful.
I took a few (female) coworkers of mine here today and Jorge was more than accommodating, giving us a tour, and helping us pick out cigars for the ladies.

First time visit, drove out 40 minutes to check out the place. I frequent cigars shops often. but, this is the first shop I have experienced unfriendly staff. As we entered a young lady & gentleman was behind the register. Neither one of them spoke until we said hi & she some what smiled & he did not. The gentleman was nonchalant never acknowledge us nor did either one ever come & check to see if we needed any help. I had to go & ask for help & she showed us what we were looking. Last but not least, we were checked out by the young lady & the gentleman was behind the register & he still never said a word, smile, nothing. I must say their humidor room is large & nice. They have great seating space & nice outside patio with fans & heater.

My husband and I stopped in here to buy a birthday gift for a friend and, wow, this place is a cigar lovers paradise! Their humador room is massive and their staff are great at helping you find the best! They do have a very nice smoking room, but we were just popping by. Unfortunately, although they sell pipes, they didn’t seem to know much about them, so we were on our own a bit there. We found something good though and it was a birthday hit!

You will not find a more knowledgeable, friendly and affable host than Jorge. The inventory is extensive, the patrons friendly, and the prices are unbeatable. Highly recommend it to the expert and the cigar neophyte.

First time into the relocated spot down the sidewalk from original location. Impressive. Beautiful place with comfy coach area with wide screen TVs for your viewing pleasure. Good selection of top cigar names in the humidor with willing and knowledgeable staff. I recently started smoking a lighter cigar with Connecticut wrappers and Jorge had three excellent recommendations on the tip of his tongue that stayed in that vein. Whether you want to stop and shop or stay awhile, you will like this upscale shop. Prices are competitive with the other shops I frequent. Also, they have a great patio that I didnt notice until leaving!

I came here to buy some cigars for my dad for his birthday. I know absolutely nothing about cigars and that wasn’t a problem. The staff helped me by picking a variety of cigars based on my budget and included some of his favorites. The guy that helped me clearly knew a lot about cigars which made me feel good since he was the one picking them. He even made sure to throw in a chocolate one that he swore I would love and he wasn’t wrong. Great selection at a variety of prices. Very helpful staff. I’d highly recommend them if you are needing some cigars but don’t know what to get.

Without knowing what their previous location looked like, I can assure you that there aren’t very many cigar shops that can compare with Stogie’s new location. This is not just a tobacco shop to smoke cigars in, nor is it just a shop to buy cigars and pipe tobacco… it’s both.
The new Stogie’s location is huge with a large couch area complete with two large wide flat screen TVs to lounge while you enjoy your just purchased tobacco. There’s also a table set where frequent card games are played, a conference room, small kitchen, and private humidor lockers that are connected into the main humidor room. The walk-​in humidor is incredibly impressive stocked full of cigars from floor to ceiling. They offer everything from single cigars to boxes of cigars for sale.
Connected onto the other side of the walk-​in humidor is the VIP lounge. The lounge offers a private kitchen stocked with bottled water, plush leather couches and seats, several big flat screen TVs, and a full wall of private lockers. Membership includes 24 hour secure access to the private lounge, so staying after hours is never a problem. If you are an avid cigar aficionado, the membership is well worth the price. They offer several different membership types, so inquire with the staff as to the membership pricing.
The staff is incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. If you are new to cigars or a first time cigar smoker, the staff will take the time to not just sell you a cigar, but they will really educate you on what you are buying. Jorge is one of the owners and is completely knowledgeable, friendly, and very welcoming to anyone that walks through his doors. Whether you are a first time smoker or a seasoned pro, you will be able to find what you want.

This is a great place to buy and smoke cigars! I’m always on the run, but anytime I’m driving by or near Stogies, I’ll always stop in and pick a few up. The staff and owner are very friendly, not over priced and usually have some HTF smokes! Great selection of smokes, Tats, Liga’s, Arturo Fuentes, La Palina, and ofcourse tons others.

Last time I went in, I saw they are expanding and it looks like March or April time frame from the info I was able to get while there.
