Stay and Play Day Care Center

Horrible experience. No hygiene and clearly no love for kids.
Look elsewhere for good childcare. This won’t be a good experience. Most parents here either don’t care or the others have no choice. You do not want your baby here

I so regret putting my daughter in this daycare! I will probably never forgive myself.
This happened before my daughter was school aged. I was looking for a daycare that I felt I could afford. Before this, I had family take care of my baby. She was three years old and all the good Child Care Centers were full or not accepting new children.
Any how, I came across this place and I only needed day care for 2 weeks; it was an emergency situation.
I was so happy that they charged by the week and since they are right next to the hospital and care for mostly hospital staff kids; I thought this was a great idea… NOT SO!!!
About the second day I was walking my daughter to her class, I looked down and there on the floor was a metal tack sticking straight up.
I picked it up and took it to the facility director.
I was furious!!! How can they be so careless???
The place was usually a mess and it always smelled of burnt beans!?! WTH
Anyways, that wasn’t the end… The following day I made the mistake of not preparing a lunch bag for my daughter and she ate the food from the facility; as they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, and that night my baby was so sick throwing up.
So like I said… The reason I put her in this place was because it was an emergency situation. I had no one else to watch her and I was working.
I would’ve taken her out immediately after that incident; but I just couldn’t.
Everyday was a pain to leave my baby here. She would cry and tell me she didn’t want to stay. That should have been my other clue that something was wrong… My baby never had a problem staying with someone I left her with. She had babysitters before. Or we’d go to a friends house and she’d want to stay there even though she’d just met them. She wouldn’t tell me why she didn’t want to stay, but it was obvious that she terrified of staying.
When enrollment started for regular school she asked me what school she would be going to. I told her what school and she said that she was glad it wasn’t the «little school». I asked her why she didn’t like the «little school»… She told me that the teacher would hit her and pull her hair ‚(Even writing this brings tears to my eyes. I have the sweetest little girl. I don’t understand how anyone would do anything bad to a child, let alone my baby!
Fortunately she was only there two weeks.
Unfortunately I can’t press charges because I don’t have evidence that any of this took place.
I’m writing this as a warning to any parent who is looking at this place to care for their child. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
My husband always told me… If it looks too good to be true, it usually is! I’m so sorry I didn’t listen and my baby got hurt.
