Starbucks

This is my favourite Starbucks. The staff is friendly and I am impressed by their speed of preparing my flavorite caffeinated beverage.
I am a regular. I only wish they had an electrical outlet at the end of the bar where I roll up in my wheelchair. Alright, I will tell you my flavorite beverage. Skinny Mocha, extra shot with one pump of Toffee Nut. Thanks to Ellie, there is always some on hand. For a little Turkish touch, ask for Russ. I owe a big thank you to Drew for helping me set up the Starbucks app on my iPhone. I finally made Gold! Oh! The Double bacon cheddar wrap is outstanding!

If you want your coffee in a timely manner, go somewhere else. I waited 20 minutes for an iced coffee. They are short staffed and very slow. Also, my order has been wrong almost every time. I will be finding another Starbucks with better service & coffee!

New Starbucks right on South Rice (just south of Westpark). Convenient location, plenty of parking, not too full yet (plenty of seating), and quiet. I’d much rather go here than go to the Starbucks in mid-​Galleria. Not a mad house! (Has a drive-​thru if that’s your thing.)

Finally! A Starbucks that doesn’t close at 8, that has space and plenty of chairs, a drive through, and doesn’t perpetually have creepy taxi cab drivers sitting around one cup of coffee taking up multiple tables inside and out — yeah, I’m looking at you South Rice & Bissonnet Starbucks.
Anyways — this Starbucks is about an even split from my house, but even if you have to pass the S. Rice/​Bissonnet location to get here, do it. Like I said, lots of seats and tables inside and out (the patio is nice). Staff here is good, but I really have never had bad service worth writing about at any location. They keep the condiment bar stocked and clean as well as the rest of the place.

This is my go-​to Starbucks. However it has been so overcrowded lately. It’s clean and new but as of late I have had trouble finding seating at peak hours. I will still continue to come here. The staff is fantastic — even though the service wait can sometimes be excessive.

I Drive by there every day, but try to avoid this location (I only stop there when parking at the sturdbucks on Rice/​Bissonet is too overcrowded.). To my regret, every time. Like this morning, service station was a mess, no stir sticks, no brown sugar, no milk. Coffee is weak (good thing I keep Nescafé instant pouches with me) and tastes like chit. Appears likeI they just used the old filter and coffee from the last brew. Also the stuff seems stressed and clueless. They run and move like crazy, trying to keep up. Don’t know why, there is hardly any traffic. Never had more than 3 ppl in front at me and never had to wait for parking. Poorly managed.
I recommend you’ll drive the extra mile south to the other location. If I get parking there, I don’t mind 12 ppl in line, staff if fast and appears well managed since everyone there knows what to do. And my coffee tastes like coffee, not like piss.

I come here nearly every day and they always impress me. They are friendly, hospitable, and make your coffee perfect. I love this location and think you will too!

The drinks are usually made correctly, but every time I’ve come the service has been painfully slow. It’s a newer location, so maybe they are still in training? I wish they would improve their service because it’s right on my route to and from work, but I usually go out of my way to go to a different, faster location.

Slowest Starbucks on the planet. Avoid at all costs. Window staff rude. They get the drinks out much slower than most other Starbucks drive-through’s.

I had some business in the area and needed a place to have breakfast and work. This appears to be a fairly new location. It was not too busy and had plenty of seating. I got there at 7:30 am on a Saturday, there were 4 other customers were there. They forgot to make my drink, I reminded them when the served the person that came in after me. They served a few more drive thru customers before they made the drink. The bathrooms were in terrible shape. See pictures. The staff was courteous. Food was ok.

Great new location! Friendly and accommodating. They honor Starbucks’ refill policy correctly without hassle (unlike many other Starbucks – one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to Starbucks). I know they’re new, hope they keep it up!
Update: Well, whatever is on «Currently Playing at Starbucks» in the app is NOT what is playing here. They might want to tone down the heavy Indie Rock playlist (virtually all variations on the same song, they all start to blur together after a while). After hearing Vampire Weekend/​Franz Ferdinand/​Walk the Moon for the billionth time, it starts to feel punishing. Sure, those songs are nice, but maybe intersperse with some lighter selections that are on the prescribed Starbucks playlist? Still, it’s a minor annoyance and not enough for me to dock them a star, because the staff is just so darn friendly and accommodating.
Further Update: Someone lurked on this Unilocal review because I noticed the music has changed recently! Thank god because I sometimes come to Starbucks low key hung over needing coffee and the pounding music definitely doesn’t help. Also, alas, the chain smoking taxi drivers from S Rice/​Bissonnet Starbucks have descended upon this location (latest status update in response to other review)

One of the fellas who works the drive thru makes my day every time I go! Customer service here is stellar.
This new location is so convenient. The barristers are top-​notch getting my custom-​ordered drinks just right!
Location — ⁴⁄₅ South Rice and Westpark… badly needed in this area. The one in Bellaire is always crowded. I wish there was a turning light in front to help with traffic flow.

Price ⁴⁄₅ Maybe it’s just me, but for some reason, the prices here seem more expensive than other nearby locations.

Thank you to to the coffee gods for opening another Starbucks en route to my job, because the 24 hour Starbucks at Post Oak/​Westheimer near the Galleria was just giving me the early morning, pre-​work blues!
This new location is just all around AWESOME! I’ve been here many times since they opened a month or so ago and they have provided the best customer service I’ve experienced at any Starbucks and I’ve been to plenty around the U.S.A.
Plus they get your drink right and it tastes like it supposed to taste on the first try, no redos or your uneasiness of wondering is this a white mocha or a caramel macchiatto or worse yet, what this concoction.
Keep doing what you’re doing.

This is without a doubt the BEST Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The baristas are really friendly and make the drinks quick and right.

Two for two now, first time they didn’t get my drink right and it took 10 minutes to get a iced caramel coffee, now this time the seem to not even remember what I ordered.

This is a shinny new free standing store. Staff is friendly and the café is roomy, which is not always the case with a drive through store. I tried an Amsterdam Wafel made by Rip Van Wafels. Dark chocolate sea salt. You have to buy a package of 5 but they are good. Not overly sweet and who doesn’t love dark chocolate! I will definitely stop in this store in my next run to the Sam’s across the street.

Another ubiquitous Starbucks but they have drive thru. Help was very friendly and the inside was very clean and inviting. If your in this lovely, I jest, part of Houston… please do drop by!
