Seriously the worst Starbucks in the city of Houston. Seriously. Longest wait times, orders are always wrong, people working are not friendly at all! Pretty pissed that they’re doing construction on Memorial Dr almost forcing me to come to this location. The Memorial & Dairy Ashford location is the total opposite! I’m just going to have to say screw the construction and go to that one, cause this place SUCKS!!!

HORRIBLE. this was the last straw with this location. Yes I am basic and love Starbucks. But mannnn can this location super end my live for Starbucks. I have gone before to this location 3 times in a row and every time my drink is different. I don’t order anything complicated. Just a triple grande iced hazelnut latte. Every time I got it it taste different. This was just two weeks ago. Nothing bothers me more than inconsistency. Today I leave work early to get some coffee. And order a hazelnut frap grande and one venti. Let me tell you. I pull up the window, repeat my order three times. The person taking my order was replaced with someone else because she didn’t understand what I wanted. I repeat my order again. Pull up to the window, wait 7 minutes and my first frap comes out. No whip cream thou. The guy proceeds to get the other drink, and I have to wait another 3 minutes just for them to put whip cream-which they forgot to do-on the first drink. I should have flippin tried the drinks. But I didn’t. I get home. NOSUGAR. NOSYRUP. all liquid. Like milk and coffee. Not even decent ice. It turned into pure sour milk with coffee. Ugh. I will so go out my way to forever and a fat forget about this location. Save your time. Pass this place up !!!

I’ve only gone to this location a handful of times because it’s seconds from my job, however, each time, they are terrible. Each time I go in there, no matter what time of the day, they are terribly slow. Went yesterday and ordered a caramel macchiato, the young man at the drive-thru was very pleasant and my wait in line wasn’t long for once. But lets discuss my drink, it was TERRIBLE! I did not have to time nor the patience after work to loop back around the feeder to go back. My drink was not mixed ATALL… baristas…you have 1 job… MAKECOFFEE! I just can’t go back to this location anymore. It’s hard enough finding a decent Starbucks in the city when I’ve been spoiled by the ones in my hometown of Seattle, but surely I’ve had WAY better at other Houston locations.

Slow service and Long Lines on a Friday. Staff does not move fast for the Service industry

I’ve been to many Starbucks before and I have never had such a bad experience. The customer service was very bland. Also, I have worked for Starbucks before so the barista should’ve automatically put whip crème on my frappucino unless I specified otherwise. Starbucks whip crème is one of the few reasons I get frappucinos and that was not an option at this location. I will not be back.

I hate to pile on with the other reviews, but I also always experience slow service times at this location. I think something is wrong with their system since there are other busier locations that I go to and there is definitely better efficiency on those other places. Staff is nice enough but that doesn’t make up for long lines. I make it a point now to avoid this place on busy times, there are other nearby locations.

This is my favorite Starbucks spot for driving through– EVERRRR. They ALWAYS get my order right and they seem to never run out of cold brew. I’m too lazy to physically walk into a Starbucks, unless I have to meet a study group, so I probably will never review the inside of a Starbucks, but drive– through wise, this location is at the top of my list.

Standard starbucks, nothing really more to say… I go in, wait in a long line, get my coffee of the day dark, add sugar and half & half and leave. Service was good and cashiers tried to keep the line moving.

This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Orders are always wrong, service is always slow and unprofessional, and they don’t clean the bathrooms. Fortunately, I rarely use this location as there are plenty of better ones nearby.

Drive thru is always packed. Lady in front ordered 20 drinks and made every car behind her wait. I ordered chai tea latte but I got a green tea latte Not what I wanted but it tastes okay so it’s alright.

This location is literally incapable of making a drink properly. After 3+ emails and two phone calls to the head cooperate people and they still haven’t sent anyone out to retrain these employees. This location is a disgrace to all Starbucks. The only reason I go is the location. If you don’t mind waiting 20 minutes for a coffee(cause they will make all the drive through line first) and are okay with getting the wrong drink. This is the place for you.

This Starbucks is always so slow and 70% of the time they get our order wrong. I’ll drive the extra mile to go to the Starbucks on I10 and Voss.

Watered down iced coffee. Took it back in, explained it tasted watered down– they served me the exact same watered down coffee a second time. Saw a fly in the bakery display sitting on the old fashioned donut while waiting.

What keeps me coming here? The location. It’s close to work and has a drive through. What underwhelms me at this location? The snail like speed at which my order is collected and my drink is dispersed. The employees are friendly and cheerful but it appears that they consistently understaff. In the mornings around 7 when I patron the drive through they’re obviously very busy so I can expect a slow drive through the drive-through lane. However, when I visited this weekend during what I would consider an «off time» with 4 baristas they were running slow. Turns out 2 of the 4 were new and being trained during that shift. A new employee reloaded my card and took my order with some struggle but that’s OK we got it figured out and I happily waited for my drink. After waiting 10 minutes, my drink is placed on the bar and it’s wrong. I ordered an iced blond double shot and got two hot shots of espresso. This is Houston people. If a patron walks into your Starbucks in the afternoon and orders a hot drink you need to clarify you understood them correctly. It’s like Hades during the summer months in Houston, you shouldn’t even make hot drinks after Noon! So, obviously this drink was not gonna work out for me so I ask for it to be remade and then I wait for 30 minutes for my drink to be remade… When the shift lead realized my drink hadn’t been remade she was very apologetic, gave me a refund and made my drink and it was absolutely delicious. Like I sad before, they have good people working here but they’re struggling to provide quick and precise service due to staffing issues. I’ll still patron this Starbucks because of its location and I truly hope its service improves.

Should have gone through the drive thru. Counted 5 cars before I got my super simple order(3 shots of expresso). Me and 10 other drinks came out at once. Makes me wonder how long my expresso shots were sitting out. I may just stick to Starbucks town and country from now on.

To be fair, I’ve only been here once, but the customer service was so great, I felt the need to review it! We ordered some of the holiday specials, but had a dog in the back(inner loopers– this is a great coffee stop on the way back from the dog parks out West). The person handling the drive through offered us a cup of whip cream for the dog which completely won our sweet puppy over. Dog friendly is the way to be!

A BIGTHANKYOU to the guy in the black pickup truck who paid it forward this morning. On Wednesday June 11th, 2014 around 8:45AM you paid it forward to the cars behind you. I was in the white Nissan behind you and I just want to let you know how much I appreciated your kind gesture. I hope the kindness is returned to you. Thanks again for breakfast :)

This spot is convenient for people who live in the area. Friendly staff and I never had a problem with my order at this location. As someone mentioned before parking sucks in the morning because of the shared lot with other businesses. The drive thru isn’t any faster in the morning either. So expect to wait a bit while people are ordering inside and at the drive thru. There’s about 3 tables inside and couple of tables outside. Most people prefer the Starbucks in Town and country(friendly staff and drinks are pretty good) and/or the Memorial location(too crowded in the morning and drinks are either a hit or miss. Most times a miss for me). To me, Starbucks is Starbucks. The only time it’s different or special is when the barista knows how to make special drinks upon request. I used to love barnes café town and country starbucks when one of the baristas made a drink taste like milk tea tapioca drink using black tea.

When reviewing a chain, I remove the standard of «uniqueness». I mean, this is Starbucks, if you don’t prefer this location go one more exit down I10, there’s another one. This location I have always found to be clean and friendly. Felicia at the counter always has a smile and asks me how I am. The snack counter and merchandise displays are always well stocked and organized. I don’t order anything complicated, it’s always«tall chai tea latte.» But I’ve never had an error with my order. And I do like that they don’t give me my drink at the current temperature of the surface of the sun. I can usually take my first sip within 10 minutes without sacrificing my tongue. The tables along the walls are always full of the stereotypical«Starbucks hobos» who camp out with their Mac books and piles and piles of papers and notebooks. If you’re a normal patron you can kiss the idea of sitting down inside good-bye. I’ve come into this location at 6am, noon, 8pm and any time in between– the tables are always packed. Maybe the Sbuck Hobos camp out on the doorstep like its Black Friday for their tiny tables. If you want to drink your coffee that costs as much(or likely more) than a gallon of gasoline sitting down, the outside patio is tidy, has an abundance of metal tables and is usually vacant. Enjoy the sight of the Starbucks drive-thru dumping out 10 feet from the main entrance into the shopping center… the main entrance right off the feeder road of a major highway. It’s like automobile Tetris watching people inch and squeeze their SUVs around each other.

It’s Starbucks, nothing more nothing less. Little bit of a wait, but not completely unreasonable. Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Coffee was good and as always just a little more expensive than it should be! lol
