Been waiting for 20 minutes just for them to take order. This place is horrible. Update in line over an hour and they lost our order. This place sucks so bad. The worst place ever. Still here 20 min later, have half our order. I will never eat at any sonic ever! Find out after they got our food wrong in the bag and they are rude!

I like to pretend that I’m not about the fast food chains, but I’m weak willed when it comes to sonic slushes. Lemon berry slush is where it’s at, people. And for that half off price at happy hour from 2−4PM, it’s like I’m getting my fix for no money at all. Regarding the rest of the food, it’s the standard grease fest. I don’t mind onion rings from here but otherwise it’s a hard pass from me.

Kids were craving a corn dog snack. We came at 8:30pm on a Sunday. It took an hour to get 3 corn dogs and a regular cherry limeade. Pushed the ordering button… It was lit up and after I waited for 15 min and still no answer on the other end, I asked one of the workers walking by and she said«oh, some of them aren’t working.» If they know that it’s broken, then why not put a sign up to prevent people from driving up to it. So when I moved my car to another order station, I waited another 10 min before I was able to place my order. The audio system was cutting in and out. I couldn’t hear the worker and she couldn’t hear me. It was frustrating and I seriously just wanted to drive off at this point if it weren’t for my kids. Then I waited another 30 minutes for my order. I know other customers were mad too. I could see other customers out of frustration getting out of their cars. I could hear them yelling out their orders because of the poor audio ordering system. Get it together sonic, please.

Fast food review. Okay do this sonic is located on South Main in the Target parking lot. To me sonic is sonic. Fast food joint with a huge menu. And no sonic is really better than another. This location is cool. It’s close to the house; and I have a mozzarella stick addiction. So I occasionally stop by to get my quick fix. Now at this location the speaker in the drive through doesn’t always work properly. Like today the volume was too low or something. Another time it was a lot of static. And other times they don’t even hear you drive up. The service is fine I guess. I never had a problem. But I was also never wow’d either. Now getting into the location is kind of weird if you haven’t visited before. But you’ll figure it out.

I hate this Sonic… they mess up my order every time, even if I have the person repeat it 3 times. Today I will be returning with the burger they did not get right and asking for my money back, oh, and my food was lukewarm(even though I opened it just as I was leaving the drive-thru). Now I’ve lost the taste for it altogether, I don’t even want them to fix it… oh well, I really don’t need Sonic anyway, that’s what I get for not meal prepping. On a brighter note, the lady who took my order(and my money for the wrong burger) was very nice(smiling, have a good day…), so I guess she earned the 1 required star.

Was told yesterday they had no peanut butter for shakes, and gave me a medium malt instead of a small milkshake. Tonight it’s been 30 mins since we placed our order and have not seen or heard from anyone, despite our attempts to contact them. We just left cuz we got fed up with the horrible service.

Hispanic lady at the drive thru can’t speak English and has a very bad attitude… If you don’t want to work at a fast food place, then QUIT. I shouldn’t have to deal with attitudes at drive thru.

The service here needs to be worked on. Didn’t give us our complete order and also forgot to give us straws with our drinks. As for the food, it was ok. I’ll eat at a Sonic again

The service here is hit or miss. I usually get good, friendly service but sometimes they are lazy and rude. The free texans slushies suck. They taste like a mixture of a bunch of flavors. What do I expect though… they are free.

Summer of Shakes, well la-de-da! Was going to splurge and get a hot fudge sundae, but was told they are not making sundaes or blasts right now only shakes. It’s all ice cream! Same ingredients, just different medium. Just sounds lazy to me!

Let me start off by saying that this sub-par rating has nothing to do with the quality of the food but rather the lack of customer service that I have been experiencing the past week. Let me say I live less than one mile away from this location, and we frequent it often — at times during Happy Hour, but more outside of that. We love our drinks, and my fave being the Strawberry Limeade. The tator tots are perfectly crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside; the corn dogs are equally crispy outside and moist on the inside. The burgers are good, mozzarella sticks cheesy and delish. Last week I had a VERY unpleasant experience at drive thru: it was during Happy Hour so it is expected that there would be LONG lines and a full lot. I was in line for nearly 10 min PRIOR to reaching the actual call box to give my drink order. Mind you there are 5 vehicles ahead of me and slowly each one is moving forward, and NOONE has taken my order or even acknowledged me. Finally ALL cars have cleared the line ahead of me, and it is now 8 minutes that I have been sitting, and there are more than 6 vehicles behind me so I drove forward. The woman was VERY aggravated as I inquired as to whether the call box was broken, and this woman had the nerve to snap back at me with an attitude, «If you would’ve waited, I would’ve helped you but you just drove up!!!» Are you freaking kidding me??? You have the easiest job in that place to just sit there and take order and expedite them to YOUR window and not carhops as they are passed to you. Needless to say the whole experience went downhill, and I drove off completely… OH don’t let me forget that when I drove off, STILL none of the vehicles that had been in line behind me were attended to either as noone was in line at the window to be given orders!!! I was SO pissed off that I called and spoke with manager, Cherokee(I hope that is correct). She was very pleasant and apologetic and offered me free meals upon my return, which I refused. It is not my intention EVER to make a complaint in order to get free food. She explained to me that, knowing this wasn’t an excuse for the behavior of the woman at drive-thru and lack of service, but they were in the middle of shift change. I did let her know that she was correct that it was not a good excuse; and furthermore, let her know I started out in the food industry and fast food more specifically. Shift change is NOT that confusing or chaotic, PERIOD. She coaxed me back and asked that I ask for her(I was already in the garage of our apt) so I drove back, asked for her, and she personally expedited my order and came to again apologize to me face to face. A few days later a friend of mine and I stopped for shakes; we waited no more than 5 min only to get 1 shake. The young man seem flustered that they had only made and given him one of the shakes and not both; he apologized and said he’d be right back. Nearly 15 min later, no shake so I pushed the call button and asked what the hold up was. A few minutes later, the young man comes running out to us with the shake in hand and apologized that he was the ONLYCARHOP on duty at the moment(seriously??? most of the stalls were full, too!) He asked if we wanted a free shake or other item for our inconvenience, which we turned down; poor guy, he kept asking us if we were sure because he wanted to make it up, but we were good. Yesterday evening after work I stopped in for a Rt 44 Coke, a medium Fanta orange and 1 ice cream cone. I see several cars pull into stalls after me, get their orders(which also included food items) and leave! 13 min later, I flagged a car hop and asked her if there was a problem; at that exact time, another girl comes out and whispers something in her ear. She tells me that there seems to be a problem with the ice cream machine that they were working on… less than 2 min later my order comes out. Ok, so seriously and OBVIOUSLY my problem with this location is the customer service PERIOD. 1. I have NEVER been in drive-thru and been totally ignored; I have always had someone acknowledge me and let me know they’ll be with me in a few min… both at this location and others… clearly this woman just can’t multi-task! 2. Poor guy, why do you only have 1 person expediting order to stalls PLUS drive-thru was empty; can’t someone inside help this poor guy out. 3. COMMUNICATION sucks. You need to communicate to your customers if there is a problem because it looks like they’re being ignored OR that you’ve even given their order to someone else. This location could use some re-orientation on customer service, period. I have no other Sonic close to us so I’m pretty much stuck to this one; like I said, I have never had a problem with the food or any order being messed up… damn that customer service though.

The customer services here is hit and miss. You never know how you are going to get treated depending on the server that comes out. Something management I’m sure will not change because the girls that are the worlds worst about saying«thank you have a good day», work alllllll the time. I know as a manager that it sucks to write people up and find new replacements. But that definitely needs to happen here.

Not one of my favorite Sonic locations. I dont like giving low scores or terrible reviews, but I honestly don’t know why I’ve been here as many times as I have. Maybe I keep hoping one day my drink wont taste horrible. Every single time I’ve come here the drinks don’t taste right. The iced tea is always nasty or old tasting and the diet coke has never tasted right. It always tastes metallic. Find a new sonic, don’t waste your money here.

This is always my late night ice cream stop. When I feel like driving around on my own for a while, Sonic is always where I stop to get something to eat. I usually get the mozzarella sticks and a Reese’s Sonic Blast. Both are delicious, though they always seem a bit expensive. I know I could get the same thing from another fast food restaurant(well, perhaps not the mozzarella sticks) for a much lower price, but the taste keeps me constantly coming back to sonic.

It’s great that you can always find a Sonic when you need one. This is near the med Center and I spend a lot of time here from out of town. A little slow but the help is nice. A good place to satisfy my Rt 44 diet coke addiction.

How do you not love Sonic? Couple of words for you… HAPPYHOUREVERYDAY! That means getting tons of beverage choices and food choices(I don’t eat their food unless I feel the need to immediately vacate my bowels). I love their ice. It is technically called nugget ice and you can also buy the ice in bags as well. It’s not as good when I take it home for some reason. They must keep it at a certain temperature than my freezer at home. Regardless a couple of my favorite concoctions Vanilla Coke(this goes well with alcoholic beverages) Blue coconut and cherry slush Lemonberry slush I will say if you can imagine it… they can make it. And for CHEAP!!! just go between the hours of 2 – 4

Kinda slow, they always seem to be a bit understaffed(giving them the benefit of the doubt) but when you live in the loop the sonic options are a bit limited. Ordered a bottle of water, they brought the order and said we are out of bottles here is a cup of water, but I was charged 1.49 still… He said we brought you a cup of water… Really?! When they don’t mess up I guess they are ok here… :/

Supersonic breakfast burrito sin sausage. Large onion rings. Double cheeseburger. Large cheese tots. Two large sodas. All for $ 14 and change! I’m taking a star off because for some reason my burrito didn’t have tomatoes, but other than that, my last couple experiences here — two weeks ago, and around Christmastime — both left me impressed. Last time, the young women who took our order was super sweet, and the guy who brought us our food was also. When he realized he forgot our tots inside he chased us down with them as we were pulling out of the place. It was really nice of him. The Verdict: Affordable, yummy, and excellent service!
