This place is right across from work so it is very convenient to go to for lunch. The people there are nice and the service is good. The food sometimes take awhile, but it all depends on what you order. When I ordered to go, they still gave me chips and both salsas without charge. Great customer service! I ordered the half order of Sol Nachos today and I was surprised at how good it was. It was a perfect amount for lunch. I’ve been here a few other times and the other dishes were good/decent too. The taco salad could actually feed two and the I love the taco bowl lol. Overall, the food and service is good. I would recommend this place if you work near by in downtown.

Great breakfast taco! Plus they have fresh veggies to add if desired. Coffee was good but they only had powdered creamer — otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Friendly fast service and they had no problems with my custom order(corn tortillas with added spinach and mushrooms)

Bland, bland, bland. Most of the food tastes like it came out of a can. The guacamole was definitely the neon green kind you buy pre-made at the grocery store. I had the enchiladas verde. There was WAY too much cheese. In fact, there was more cheese than anything else. Not what I wanted in a Mexican dish. I will say the service is good and the seating area is nice.

I’ve been there a few times and every time the food has been fresh and tasty plus the staff are super friendly. I ate the daily lunch special each time and found it yummy and a good deal. The place is clean and service is quick. It’s more TX Mex than interior MX which is typical. It’s a great place for lunch. It sure beats eating in the tunnel. Luis its family owned.

They are very rude, overly priced, when you order something thats going to make them have to do a little extra work(ike an order of enchiladas with no cheese or small things like that) they either charge you more or do it with a bad attitude, specially the lady in the cashier. you would think that for being a family owned restaurant they would appreciate customers a little more but i guess not. they close at around 2:30 or 3 so one time i came about 15 minutes before they were about to close and they pretty much kicked me out of the place, as well as said that they had ran out of food… sometimes in the morning there is homeless people sitting in front of it. overall very bad customer service and the food is a 2 out of 10.

This place definitely deserves better reviews than it’s gotten so far. The salsa and chips are really good. And the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas are great as well.

This is located right across the street from the police station so I was surprised there were not more people in here during lunch time. It seems to be a family run restaurant. The woman at the counter was really nice and appreciative for the business. The place was nice and clean. I ordered the Friday burrito special which included a good size burrito, rice, beans, salsa and chips. When they brought it out it looked really delicious, however, it was just pretty good. This restaurant seems to be more on the tex-mex side, which is usually not my preference. They have a daily lunch special so I will stop in and try some of their other stuff.

Awful enchiladas. The microwave is in plain view of the counter where you order, and they’ll warm your plate up there while you watch. I miss the tamale place that was here.

I only tried the breakfast tacos, but I wanted to get this biz posted on Unilocal,so I’d remember to get back soon to have lunch. Located on street level across from the police station Downtown, where the tamale joint used to be. The place is clean and neat, has a dining room, and a simple and affordable menu. The girl working the counter was very friendly… even at 7:00am. As for the breakfast tacos, I tried one chorizo, one bacon, and one ham.(All with eggs/cheese.) They were actually cooked fresh to order, instead of just scooping the filling from a steam tray, and still hot when I got back to the office. I liked the chorizo over the bacon or ham… and it wasn’t greasy at all. They came with a container of tasty salsa. But check this out.: breakfast tacos are just $ 1.50 each! I got there right after they opened at 7:00am, and a line formed quickly behind me. Their menu is priced to sell, and I’ll be back!
