I try my hardest to support black/minority owned business every chance I get and this was the goal of my Snooty Girl Luxury Hair Studio visit. But now I question the definition of the word«Luxury.» I am currently transitioning and was looking for a nice place to get a sew-in to hold me over. I found Snooty Girl Luxury Hair Studio on-line and was blown away by their awesome customer service and communication on twitter from Brittany. Now, I am not sure if Brittany is just the receptionist or what her true affiliation with Snooty Girl Hair is but she was a ray of sunshine and I really appreciated her help as this was my first time going through this process. My thought was that if I can share that I am a little anxious about my visit this will be communicated to Ashley. the extensions stylist that I would be visiting. This didn’t happen. First off it’s hard as hell to find and map quest doesn’t help at all. So I had to call to get help. that wasn’t a problem at all. someone guided me in. Upon arrival, I guess being a new customer I expected to walk into a place where someone would greet me, introduce themselves, share with me what to expect and get started. None of which occurred. Ashley just asked that I have a seat and she would be with me. She then called me back to her station and didn’t even ask my name. I bet she still has no idea what my name is/was. We barely talked during my entire 4 hour appointment and if we did it wasn’t about my previous hair experience, if I wanted the weave cut or straightened, if I was going for a certain look, etc. NOTHING, but she did talk about her love for Drake(all we listened to for 4HOURS!!) and how she needed to hustle home to see Scandal. GTFOH. Upon completion. I noticed my hair looked weird and was too long, so I asked her trim it a bit. This lady just started cutting away, no measurements. nothing, just started cutting which has now made the hair uneven. did I mention this hair was super expensive?! I was so happy to get out of there and will never look back NOR visit a hair place without a referral. I looked fabulous for about 1 week and took it out in 3. Waste of time and money.
