Smoothie King

Service is usually pretty slow even when there is not a line. But they have a drive-​thru so I don’t need to contemplate leaving The Dragon to get muh smoothie. I prefer this one over the location at the intersection of Montrose & Westheimer, because this one did not take over a Taco Cabana. Besides that they are both located at ‘major’ intersections so there’s no advantage with the traffic of one over the other.
I would like the King a lot more if she delivered smoothies to my office so I didn’t even need to get in the car to drive to get it. File this along with my suggestion to keep a nice selection of moderately priced rums in this location so you can get an Angel Food with the «secret sauce» — and by that I mean Myers or better.

I was really looking forward to smoothie king. They have one back up north where I just moved from. I was disappointed. It took them longer then 5 minutes to make one drink. The young woman working the cash register wasn’t wearing a bra and she was pushing her tits together the entire time she interacted with me. It was just a little weird. I’d go as far to say a tad unprofessional. I’m not impressed. I won’t be back.

Good customer service and staff helped me pick out a smoothie. Had to get something to carry through the day since tonight is movie night– popcorn and a coke.

Love this place and specifically this location! Every time I come, the employees are cheerful and my Strawberry Lemon Twist and my boyfriend’s Angel Food rock! A bit on the pricey side but for the fresh fruit and good service I find it worth it.

I like to go to this Smoothie King after a nice workout and when I feel too tired and lazy to make my own shake. This location is usually empty, so the service is pretty fast. They have their own private parking lot, but I typically go through the drive-​thru. The only reason I won’t give this place the full 5-​stars is just because they are very pricey.

Avoid. My wife found several pieces of something in her smoothie that resembled white latex and when we took it back to notify the staff the young man who made it proceeded to insinuate my wife put it in there and was a liar and ignored her by working with other customers and ducking into the office. Over a $ 4 smoothie?! So in response to all this we asked for the managers name and number. He of course was reluctant, but he gave it to us and we left, which was a mistake, because when we called it was a bad number. We were just down the street so we went back and talked to the young lady working there instead and she gave me their store number saying that was all they were allowed to provide, which is fine. And of course when i leave i get a nice loud «have a nice day!», from the young man, just in case i wasn’t already mad enough as it was. So this is my rebuttal… AVOID THIS PLACE, there are plenty of other SK’s in the area.

Drive thru, quick service, would be a high rating EXCEPT they decided to steal from me. I didn’t write in a tip on the credit card slip and an employee took it upon himself to do so. I called to complain. They said they couldn’t refund the amount because «the purchase had already been processed» (how would I have known about it otherwise?). They offered me $ 2 off my next purchase. You will NEVER get my business again.

This smoothie king is awesome! They are very fast and friendly with outstanding tasty beverages!

I visit this Smoothie King every Saturday & Sunday. It’s my routine breakfast. I’ve tried about ¹⁄₃ of the menu which is a lot of smoothies. It’s a healthy way to start your day (yeah it’s cheesy but true). They have about 6 different categories of smoothies depending on what you want; weight gain, weight loss, meal replacement, snack, etc. I like how they mark the menu with smoothies that are under 300 calories which has been pretty helpful to me. You can also add extra shots to your smoothies with stuff like vitamins, wheat grass, caffeine and more. Big fan of smoothie king but I haven’t been to another smoothie place to compare cause this one is within walking distance from my place.

I love my Smoothie King, much better than it’s competitors. It’s always a great snack or a mea replacement when I’m running errands.
This location has always been and quick and easy stop with friendly staff. Sadly they have stopped the frequent purchase stamp card. They have replaced it with a gift card of sorts. If fill a card up with a certain amount you get a free smoothie. This is simply not an option for me. I so often lost my stamp cards, I have no faith that these pre-​filled cards will not be lost as well.
