I paid the $ 50 consultation fee to see Xenos Yuen.
There are several things I look for in a lawyer before I hire them.
1. I want to see if he is willing to listen and work with me.
2. His understanding in the law.
3. His hourly rate.
First of all, he was 30 minutes late on our scheduled appointment. During our meeting which I paid, half the time he was on the phone with other businesses for his investment opportunities. He rudely cut me off in a middle of a conversation to answer his phone and continued on at least 5 minutes with his partners. Then there were other frequent calls he kept answering.
Then his character flaw:
He is cocky and arrogant. He kept bragging about himself. (I don’t care where you graduated nor do I care that you are an engineer. What does being an engineer have to do with being a lawyer?) Half the time he is wrong making the wrong assumption but he is too arrogant to know it. When I tried to correct him, he got apprehensive.
I didn’t feel like arguing with him so I just let him speak. He knew nothing of real estate law. When I was done consulting with him I was glad I was out of his office.
