Terrible service, and the lady there does not know a thing about customer service. She’s a very rude employee who harasses her customers! I asked my mother to grab a dozen donuts for me, but she was unfamiliar and had to call me while she was there. The woman, who wasn’t very understanding of my mother’s situation taunted her asking«why didn’t you bring your baby with you!» and continued to taunt her about the different variety of donuts that my mom«should’ve» known prior to coming. Upon exiting she even warned my mother to «next time bring your baby.» Meanwhile before my mother was was another young boy who ordered donuts and paid with 2 dollars. The woman kept(seriously) taunting the boy asking why his bill was wet when he handed it to her. Ridiculous. I would much rather drive over 30 mins to go to Krispy Kreme’s.

Walked in to interrupt a chubby Hispanic lady’s gossip fest with her coworkers huddled around her. She asked them to hold on, then asked me, «what do you like? «I rarely go to donut shops so the variety was overwhelming. «I’d like a dozen, half with sprinkles.» «Which kind? «she responded, «we have chocolate, maple, esterawberry, galaze, cake…» «let me think about this for a minute. I know my kids love sprinkles but I didn’t realize there were so many choices.» She stared at me, unamused without retort, so I asked her to choose for me. She turned around without a word, obviously annoyed and started picking my selection. I stopped her after she exceeded six. An argument ensued. «Ju told me to select.» She was obviously eager to return to her oral novella time. «I said half of a dozen, that’s six.» A donut chef walked in from the back asking her what was the holdup. Not realizing I spoke Spanish, she told him that she was«waiting for this tortuga to order.» I told her, «I’m not a turtle,» and finished my order. After placing the box in the bag she slammed the bag on the table. «Are you okay? «I asked? «Jes why?“she responded. «I don’t know, you seem really angry.,» I said. *Ju don’t see me angry, I don’t get angry.» I returned to my car and felt pity for the owner of this place, wondering if he knew his employee didn’t give a pesos care about his lively hood. She resumed to the huddle to finish her story before I rudely interrupted. As I reversed out to leave, I saw her biting a donut and realized that she is what she eats with junk physically going in, and exiting metaphorically. I miss Krispy Kreme.

I come here to pick up donuts on Sundays when ever family is visiting over. The glazed donuts are good if you eat them immediately but get stale in a couple of hours in my opinion. My absolute favorite donuts here are the coconut donuts but I have been know to buy a strawberry and chocolate icing donut. I wasn’t a fan of kolaches until recently so I’ll pick up a jalepeno cheese kolache with my donuts nowaday. Still, I come here mainly for the donuts and I have been rarely dissappointed.

WOW… my first time trying kolaches was here(basically a hot dog/sausage wrapped in a dough, kind of like a huge pig in a blanket). These kolaches are DELICIOUS! The dough part was soft & airy, not heavy. The sausage was tasty & savory… and there was cheese inside too! I guess kolaches are a Houston thing… but man, it would be dangerous for my belly if we had these in the ATL.
