This is a small Shipley that closes very early (12 pm most days) and has a really limited selection. Service is fine but the lady at the counter somehow got my order wrong (ordered sausage kolache, got a sausage & cheese). As far as food, the donuts are donuts and the kolaches are pretty bad.
They only have 3 kolaches here ($ 2 each), and I ended up with the sausage & cheese and ham & cheese. Lots of bread but the bread’s dense, not very soft, and plain. It actually kind of tastes like sourdough. The sausage and ham fillings are alright but the cheese is so salty it ruins everything. If I want bad kolaches, I think I’ll go to Kolache Factory instead.
