The WORSTSHIPLEYS ever. I don’t care about the parking lot. It’s the customer service they never have hot doughnuts ever. If you ask they look at you like your wrong for asking.

The one star is for the donuts. They are the only redeeming quality for this location. Parking lot sucks. Kolaches are dry. The jalapeños on my Kolaches were burnt and wilted. Gigantic cockroach on the window definitely isn’t cool, especially when the ladies behind the counter are giggling about«la cucaracha», like I don’t know what it means. Do yourself a favor and go to the location on Voss.

Not like other donut shops… But OK for the most part… I love my fritter and the bread of the kolache is amazing… Overall OK… Great visit. Wasn’t too busy. I love my food warm so they had to reheat everything because the place is super cold… This actually wasn’t me first visit. More like 100… Great for on the go breakfast… Great job you guys…

This is absolutely the worst Shipley!!! Trying to get to the parking was tough enough in the morning. And when I went in wanting a kids meal that’s usually is on the menu. Nope not here. So I just went with what they have. The donut were cold so I’ve ask for it to be heated up. They say they don’t even have a microwave. How annoying!!! I will never come back to this place again. Get a new management.

Shipley is better than dunkin doughnuts and on the same level as Krispy Kreme. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location.

This is my neighborhood Shipley’s so the freaky parking lot has become second nature for me. Heck I drive a truck so popping over the back curb to get out is not something I am unfamiliar with… Shipley’s, IMHO, is the best place for donuts in town. Oh sure there are other donut shops and I am sure they are delicious. But Shipley’s has these maple glazed donuts that I could eat by the dozen. And for about $ 7 a dozen you can get regular ol’ glazed or cake OR some mighty fine fruit or cream filled pockets of yum. These donuts have not been sitting around all day in some plastic container like in a grocery. They are fresh and often you can catch them just pulling them from the cooker and get them nice and warm Just tell the nice counter folks you want a dozen or half dozen(don’t leave with less, you will regret it) and start choosing between the iced and glazed and filled and cinnamon twists and sprinkles and coconut and bismarks and grab a bag of donut holes when they have them to eat on the way home! No they don’t have drive thru service. But you are buying a few hundred calories so maybe walking inside to get them isn’t such a bad idea. They’ve got a couple little tables but I never really see anyone in there eating their donuts. My only complaint is they don’t have kolaches all day. I go to work four mornings a week in the middle of the night. I prefer to go by the day before and grab some breakfast to take with me. I wish there were kolaches available then. Now about that parking. The little parking lot is shared with a couple big ol’ stores and a Jack in the Box. You can get in on Westheimer or off Gessner. It can be a pain in the butt to wind around in there and get out again at that busy corner. So just know there’s not a lot of space and always a lot of traffic to deal with if you try and get back out onto either main street. But for those maple donuts I can deal.

Went there this morning ordered sausage and cheese kolaches and got plan sausage. It was very dry and hard to eat. They need to get orders right especially when people have to go to work and don’t have time to go back.

Always seem to live near one of these places, which can be dangerous. My favorite donut by far is the maple glazed with the white iced coconut coming in a close second. Their kolaches are good(especially the jalapeño, sausage, and cheese one), but since I mostly eat veggie now, I don’t really get them often anymore since they are all full of meat. Maybe one day they will get veggie friendly ones like their competition? Parking is a bit on the small side, but chances are most people will be coming in and out quick so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I always stop at this location in the a.m. when picking up donuts for a function at work. I love how it’s very in and out, which is important when you’re on your way the office. In general Shipleys has been very consistent in they’re quality of donuts. The parking is kind of weird bedside it’s one way in and out but outside of that it’s a great stop to get in and out.

Before heading to work, I decided to make a stop to pick up some fresh donuts from this location since it was right off Gessner. Although this location doesn’t have a 24 hour drive thru like their other one not too far from this one, this location is convenient since it’s right off Gessner where my work is located. I picked up a few Classic and Chocolate Glazed donuts which I just had a bite out of and they were soft and fresh as expected. Their hours here are till 5PM so I wouldn’t suggest coming to this location after work hours…
