Ship-Shape Chiropractic

Dr. Shippey is awesome. I woke up in the middle of the night this summer with a stabbing pain in my back (no, it wasn’t one of my many haters – phew…). It progressively got worse, and eventually I couldn’t drive or breathe deeply. I was starting to get concerned and a coworker recommended that I see a chiropractor. I’d never been to a chiro, and frankly, i thought it was a load of crap. but I was so desperate i gave dr. shippey a call because he was right across the street from work. He got me in within 2 hours, diagnosed the problem, and adjusted (and FIXED) me within 45 minutes. it was a major relief!
He didn’t pull any of that «oh you need x-​rays», or «you need to get special shoes», or «buy this or that» junk with me. he got me in, figured out what was wrong, fixed it, and I was on my way.
he is very friendly and will make you feel comfortable, even if you’ve never been adjusted before, like me!
his prices are reasonable (~$ 75 w/​o insurance per adjustment), and every time i’ve called i’ve been offered a same day appointment!
he also practices acupuncture and has a massage therapist in the office, but i’ve never tried either of those services.
the décor is… kitschy nautical. imagine Gilligan’s island meets deadliest catch. lol. but don’t let that turn you off. it’s all about the service you receive! very convenient for those who work at nasa too.
