Yummy hen and suya. I was introduced to the place by my friend. They’ve done carryout and I’ve eaten the suya often. Well on NYE my friend acquired the hen. OMG it is so spicy and good! This place will become one of my regular take-out spots.

You. Just. Have. To. Try. Every. Thing. On. The. Menu. Period. Importantly, the owner, Adam, is as gracious as any owner-chef can ever be. Always smiling, always patient, always accommodating of guests’ wants. His samples and portions are generous. He is only too happy to explain what you are eating. He even has Nigerian-slang names for his signature dishes such as: «Old boy, na wa oo»(spicy grilled whole hen), «On point»(spicy black eyed peas), and so forth. Oh, did I mention that every dish is SPICY? As in, SPICYHOT? No alcohol is served, so bring your own. Once the restaurant opens, it gets busy in a heartbeat. Meals and drinks are very inexpensive. They also cater to parties, and ship outside of the state. Personally, I would recommend the addictive Ram suya and jollof rice combo at $ 7.

Great suya. Jollof rice with ram is definitely my favorite dish here. I would take this suya over any other suya spot in Houston
