Rude Rude Rude the store manager. I pickup ordered Veal Parm and they gave me chicken parm. When I called to let them of the mistake, they said to come back to replace. Then the store manager called and rudely said«you didn’t order Veal. you ordered chicken. we don’t even carry chicken.» I told her I confirmed the order and my family was right next to me when I made the order and they confirmed it. She got really loud and said«NOYOUDIDNOT». I asked to speak to the store manager and she said«I AMTHESTOREMANAGER!». I told her I will contact Anthony the owner of the Franchise. We order from there at least 3 times a month. The food is not great and the portions definitely are not worth it. Overpriced. However we order from their because they support my kids school. I WILLNEVER order from their again. With their 2 star rating, I am surprised they lasted this long. I will post this on our neighborhood blog next.

I would have rated this place a O star if I could. I ordered a pizza in which I was not able to pick up when it was ready so they kept calling me asking if I was coming to get it. I informed them I would be there. They closed at 10 pm however she called me at 9:50 telling me they were closing so I could not get the pizza. My daughter was pulling in to get the pizza about the same time. I called back to ask if they did not close until 10 why was I not able to pick up the pizza at 9:50 and the employee was extremely rude! I have been a customer of Russo’s for years but after this I will never go back.

Russo’s is one of the best pizzerias here in Houston. Locations aren’t all the same, but the pizza is still the best out of any other pizzeria. Our staff at work really looks forward to Sunday’s. They are big fans of the Party pizza. We have only had it delivered, and it still arrives tasty.

I got food poisoning from this place. They apparently have bad hygiene and food handling practices. I should have known not to eat the food since their tea was sour. Sickest I have ever been in my life.

17.54 for a tiny calzone, half a cup of progresso soup and drink, they were out of tea. Lets not get into quality the 39 minutes I waited for the food, just look at the 13 dollar hot pocket.

We went here for the first time on a Sunday and it was completely dead. The calamari was bland and just didn’t have enough seasoning. The pesto chicken pizza was ok. I was disappointed. We won’t be coming back. This place is pretty pricey.

I used to like this place a lot. The pizza was as close to what I’m used to(I’m from Philadelphia) as I could get here in Houston. Over the past year, they stopped making change if you paid cash. As of the past month, the raised their delivery minimum to $ 25. I am usually just ordering for myself so meeting that minimum is not going to happen. Sorry, you just lost another customer.

Completely disgusting! Apparently pizza raw in the middle is their trade mark, that was the case when I went there for the first(and last) time.

I would have given zero stars but it forces you to give at least one… I have eaten at several different Rosso’s locations but this was our first time eating at this location. My husband has a gluten intolerance so we went specifically because the website states you can get gluten free crust with any pizza, including specialty, at no additional charge. When we arrived and sat down they came quickly to take our order but then told us that the gluten free crust is $ 15.00 for a plain pizza and all toppings are an additional $ 2.00EACH! For a medium pizza! So then he changes his order to tomato basil soup and a chicken Caesar salad. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and a Mona Lisa pizza. When the food FINALLY started coming to the table everything came out at once and was all served cold, even the mozzarella sticks and the soup! The tomato basil soup is a favorite of mine so I was surprised at how terrible it tasted at this location! My husband could not even eat it. Then our pizza arrived, after everything else had long been finished and we asked for it, and it was also cold! There were a couple globs of cheese in a couple spots but most of the pizza didn’t even have any! And that was $ 17.00!!! Total bill came to $ 53.00 for a bunch of cold food with terrible service! I will continue to give Russo’s my business but never again at this location!

Ordered Pizza and wings Friday night. First time order. When the food arrived it was cold. I put it in the oven, but only managed to dry out the wings and burn the pizza. Wrote Russo’s via their online form explaining what happened with the order number included. Not a word back from them. I won’t be ordering from Russo’s ever again!

This location always makes my pizza on time and correctly. It comes out very hot and delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you want a nice, quiet place to eat and it’s close to a lot of businesses out here.

You have GOT to be kidding me. Very disappointed. Ordered eggplant parm, margarita pizza, and Stromboli all to-go. Eggplant was terrible, it was sliced in about 5 – 6 ultra thin layers, no kind of breading. The pizza was basically very tough pizza dough with a layer of grease and paper thin sliced orangish colored tomatoes on top and a couple flakes if burnt up basil, that’s it, that was the whole pizza. Stromboli dough was soggy from grease, what was inside was ok though. Everything had a pre-made, reheated look and taste to it ESPECIALLY the pizza. Won’t be back, only went there because Brother’s Pizza is closed on Sunday’s.

The atmosphere here is very nice. Good music, clean floors and tables, neat and organized. I’ve been here twice once for take out the other dined in. Pizza is great here but the two times I’ve been here have been very slow. Wondering why but not complaining!

Ok, I found this location under the Russo’s website but Russo isnt included in name? Whatever. I have a location closer to the house at 290/Hwy 6, but for some reason they didnt have an option to order online. I ended up driving allot further than I wanted(I should have called into closer location). This restaurant feels like its in Siberia. A very odd place for a location. However, the place is spacious and the counter help was very welcoming when I came to pick up. We ordered Russo’s at the office and I was trying to duplicate my lunch experience with take-out but I ordered the wrong thing(strike number two for me). Anyway, I started with the regular side meatball as an appetizer $ 3.95 and it was really firm, tasty and seasoned pretty well. I also got the small insallata Della Casa which was a great side salad with the usual vegetables. I ordered the Lasagna $ 10.95 which turned out kind of thin, runny and over sauced. Having said that it was really pretty good. I would say more sauce and cheese than meat. I think what I am looking for is a baked ziti that was a tad less runny and thicker in size. I would like to say the jury is still out on this place for me. I need a go to middle-tier Italian place that I can use for pick up or eating in and this still has potential. I finished with the Cannoli $ 3.95 with a crunchy exterior and really creamy inside. The only disconnect for me was the drizzled chocolate sauce on top.

Actually not bad– I’d almost take off for service at this location– too many staff standing around when I am waiting for a drink refill, Also I had the gnocchi here– it wasn’t cooked right– still doughy in the middle– I had it at the 290 location and it was amazing. Desserts are ok too. I think maybe it is just this location. Also I don’t know about the crowds people are talking about been here twice on a weekend evening and no one is in there.

I’ve from New York and love the pizza there. I was hoping I could find a place down here that is just as good. I am still searching.

It’s big and spacious but gets very busy during lunch hours. It’s annoying that they only have 1 person on the register to take orders so the line is ridiculous. The food is good but a little bland. The name is a little misleading because it’s definitely not anything like a NEWYORK Pizzeria.

Clean, friendly, and decent NY style pizza. Definitely a step up from your typical pizza chain. However, this huge place was totally empty on a Saturday at 1pm in the afternoon. I was the only customer from the time I walked in, ate, and left. The service was good. The lady behind the counter was friendly taking our order. She came back a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. The pizza was thin, and somewhat tasty. They’re kind of stingy with the toppings though. I did order a large pepperoni and sausage, but there was little of either. It wasn’t bad, but there must be a lot of different places to eat in these parts because absolutely no one was here but me.

My first one star review. *sigh* I’ve tried a few of their locations around town but I still don’t care for the pizza at all. This time I had a chef special for $ 7.95…slice of pizza and salad. For my slice I had the margherita. The cheese was of a «reheated pizza» consistency. Not stringy and melty and fresh. Blech. Also, I’m not sure why it came with red sauce. I thought the difference between the margherita and caprese here was the caprese had a red sauce and the margherita had a garlic sauce. At least according to the menu. Confusing. Anyway, definitely subpar pizza. The house salad was pretty miserable. As my boyfriend put it, it tasted like they just poured vinegar on lettuce. What more can be said about that? The girl at the register asked if I wanted a drink and I said«water, please.» As I walked away, I realized that she charged me for a regular drink. Yes everyone makes mistakes, but it just added to the experience, or lack thereof. Oh, I forgot to mention, the basket of hard chunks of bread they bring to your table in the beginning has… hard chunks of bread. Yuck. Even though the pizza slices are gigantic and filling(and edible), I don’t care to eat here ever again.
