I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian blowout. I was super excited to try to tame the frizz that Houston weather has brought on my hair. I made the appt & was told in no uncertain terms«if you’re more than 15 minutes late for any reason, we will redeem your certificate.» Okay, a little harsh. I arrived 10 minutes early after driving for 40 minutes to the salon which is in a stripmall just west of Houston. The«suite» holds multiple salons, each with a entrance from inside the lobby with one common recpetion area & receptionist. Upon entering the lobby, I fixed myself a cup of coffee from the machine & sat down just outside the salon door as it was locked & no receptionist was present. The receptionist appeared about 5 minutes after my appt & asked if I had the 9am appt for«Royal Escape,» to which I replied«yes.» The look on her face promptly changed as she said«ummm…I’m really sorry but she had to cancel, something happened. I don’t know why she didn’t call you. I’m really sorry.» Sorry, really? Not only did I RECEIVE a confirmation email but I provided my phone number also. I have YET(2.5 days later!) even receive a phone call from this place. A phone call or even an email would be nice considering I spent my time & money to drive to appt that no one bothered to cancel. Thankfully, Groupon will refund my money & a dime will NOT be spent at this place. Very poor customer service!
